We have a choice of routes which you can select when you book, depending on what you would like to see and how you would like to challenge yourself:
Fairfield Horseshoe offers a classic Lake District walk starting from Ambleside. The route spans 11 miles and includes 8 Wainwright summits. Traversing from Low Pike to Hart Crag and Fairfield, it showcases panoramic views toward Windermere and Grasmere. The terrain varies, encompassing fell side lanes, woodland, steep ridges, and stony summit plateaus.
The ascent to England's highest peak, Scafell Pike, begins at Seathwaite. The 8.8-mile route covers 4 Wainwrights, including Great End and Broad Crag. The journey involves traversing Grains Ghyll path and Corridor Route, offering impressive vistas. The challenging terrain features mountain paths, rough rocky ground, and exposed sections.
Starting from Seathwaite, the hike to Great Gable spans 6.5 miles and features 3 Wainwrights. The route ascends via Sty Head Tarn, exploring Great Gable's South Traverse with Kern Knotts and Napes Needle. It promises an adventurous experience with exposed mountain paths, rough ground, and stony plateaus.
The Glenridding Visitor Centre serves as the starting point for this 9.3-mile journey covering 3 Wainwrights. Ascending via Birkhouse Moor, the hike navigates the iconic Striding Edge and Swirral Edge. This adventurous trek involves exposed mountain paths and stony summit plateaus.
Beginning near Bassenthwaite village, the ascent up Skiddaw takes a scenic NW ridge route. The 9.6-mile hike explores Ullock Pike, Long Side, and Skiddaw, offering expansive views of the Lake District. The route encompasses mountain paths and rough rocky ground.
This 13.3-mile Kentmere Round starts from Kentmere hamlet. Traversing Yoke, Ill Bell, and Thornthwaite Crag, it offers remote ridge walking and scenic views. The hike includes navigational challenges and diverse terrains like mountain paths and stony plateaus.

Your guide will be Lathan, a passionate mountaineer and landscape photographer of 35+ years. Lathan offers top-tier guided walks, and off-the-beaten-track adventures in response to inquiries about his stunning mountain captures and techniques.
Moderate to strenuous grading; suitable for enthusiasts with good fitness and some hiking experience.
Under-18s need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Group sizes and pricing vary, ranging from one-on-one walks to private groups or open groups for larger numbers of up to 6 people.
The walks are graded as moderate to strenuous, requiring good physical fitness and some hiking experience. For beginners, it's advisable to start with less challenging routes. You can view our full range of offerings, and book them, at the bottom of this page.
Personal hiking gear and supplies are not included. Participants are encouraged to bring their own gear based on the recommended equipment list provided upon confirmation.
