All centres are vetted for safety and quality. Your adventure is in good hands with adventuro.

Monday to Friday in July and August, adults spend 2.5 hours a day on Strandhill beach with the same coaching team. The week starts with safety, paddling and the pop-up, then builds toward more water time and, if you are ready, unbroken waves. Boards, wetsuits and boots are included every day.
Each morning or afternoon slot is confirmed around tide and swell. You kit up at the National Surf Centre, hear a short brief, then spend most of the 2.5 hours in the water. The coach starts from what you did yesterday, so Tuesday is not a repeat of Monday's first-stand script if you already stood up.
Please arrive 15 minutes early each day. Hot showers and changing rooms sit in the centre. This camp does not include accommodation or meals. Anyone 16 or over can join, including people who have never surfed.
The camp meets at the National Surf Centre on Shore Road, Strandhill, F91 XH50, opposite the main beach. Parking is nearby. Cafes sit a short walk away if you want food after the session.
Strandhill is a short drive from Sligo town. The sandy break is the same beach used for single lessons, so you get a week on one peak rather than a new spot every day.
No surfing experience is needed. You should be happy in the sea and able to spend time in waist-deep water. The booking is for ages 16 and over. Anyone under 16 should look at the youth camp instead.
Bring swimwear, a towel and a warm layer each day. Your own full-length wetsuit is fine. Tell us any medical notes that affect time in the water.
Five days with the same team means the coach can see what changed from Monday to Friday. Instructors hold Irish Surfing Association, Water Safety Ireland and child protection awards, and they are Garda vetted. Zuhe has taught for more than 16 years.
The centre is on the sand, with hot showers after each session. If you want three flexible lessons rather than a set week, book the summer package instead.
Meet at the National Surf Centre, Shore Road, Strandhill, Co. Sligo, F91 XH50 each day. Park near the centre and walk to the beachfront building.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. We confirm each day's start time once the tide is clear.
Monday to Friday in July and August. Each day is about two and a half hours including changing, with the exact start set to tide and swell. We confirm that time after you book.
This is a set week, not three flexible dates. If you need to spread sessions through the summer, book the three-lesson package instead.
Sixteen. Anyone under 16 should book the youth camp, which is for ages 7 to 15 and runs in the same months.
If you have a mixed family, book the adult camp for anyone 16 or over and the youth camp for younger children, or look at private lessons if you want one coach for the whole family.
No. The week is built for first-timers and for people who already stand up. Tell the coach on Monday so the drills match what you can already do.
By Friday the aim is more water time and a more reliable pop-up, not a performance camp. If you already ride unbroken waves, say so so we are not repeating a first-stand script.
No. The booking is the five lessons, the kit and the use of the centre. You arrange your own bed, meals and travel.
Strandhill has hostels, B&Bs and self-catering a short walk or drive from the beach. Ask if you want a pointer, but we do not book rooms as part of this listing.
The National Surf Centre on Shore Road, Strandhill, F91 XH50. Changing rooms, hot showers and toilets are in the building, a short walk from the sand.
Parking is nearby. If a day's start has to move with the tide, we send the new time. Check your messages the evening before.
A surfboard, a wetsuit and boots every day. We match the board to your size and how the beach is working. Your own full-length suit is fine.
Leave phones and bags in the changing room or the car. If you need medication in the water, give it to the coach at the start of the day.
Rain does not stop a day. We cancel or move a session when the swell or wind makes the beach unsafe. That day is rearranged inside the week if we can, or offered as a later date.
If we have to cancel a day we cannot replace, we rearrange or refund that day. Message us the evening before if you are staying out of town.
Swimwear, a towel, a warm dry layer and sunscreen each day. A water bottle helps. Get changed into swimwear before you arrive if you want to skip the queue.
Flip-flops are useful for the walk from the car. Leave valuables in the car. Pack a bag for wet swimwear afterwards.
You need to be happy in the sea. Lessons stay in water you can stand in at the start of the week, but you will fall in and you need to be comfortable with that. A coach stays with the group.
If you are very nervous in open water, say so when you book. We would rather point you at a private first lesson than have you struggle on Monday morning.
English is the main language. We can also work in Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French or German when a coach who speaks that language is on the beach that week.
Ask when you book rather than on the Monday morning. We will say if that language is available for your week, or offer a week when it is.
