We meet at a spacious grass parking area near Uzzicar Farm after following signs for Newlands and Buttermere from Braithwaite via the A66. A 15-minute walk from the parking area to the Ghyll.
Groups should have previous experience or be confident of their skill level. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Participants should bring non-cotton t-shirts/swimsuits, fleece jumpers, old shorts/sports trousers, covered-toe boots/trainers with good grip, drinks, snacks, necessary medication, and a warm change of clothes.
Yes, participants must be at least 12 years old, and under 18s need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Yes, with prior arrangement, an additional adventurous section can be added for an extended and more thrilling experience.
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on these sessions.
