Justin's adventure began 25 years ago in the Lake District National Park, a World Heritage Site that quickly captured his heart. Initially visiting to help at a renowned outdoor education centre, he fell in love with the area's breathtaking lakes, mountains, and vibrant community, leading him to make it his permanent home.
Guided by some of the most respected outdoor professionals in the country, Justin embarked on a journey of learning and exploration. He acquired a wealth of knowledge and skills across various activities like rock climbing, biking, and paddling, under the mentorship of these seasoned experts. This experience not only honed his abilities but also inspired him to reach the same level of expertise and respect.
Over the past 15 years, Justin has been a freelancer in the Lake District and beyond, working with various outdoor education providers. His work is marked by a wide array of experiences, from leading school and corporate groups to instructing on Duke of Edinburgh programs and managing conservation projects. He is especially skilled in adapting outdoor activities for individuals with sensory, learning, and physical disabilities, ensuring safe and inclusive experiences for all.
Justin's primary goal is to share his deep affection and extensive knowledge of the National Park with everyone he guides. His passion for the outdoors, nurtured by his mentors and experiences, is something he eagerly passes on to others.
