Learning to paddleboard is a fun way to explore beautiful areas whilst keeping you safe on the water.
During your paddleboard lesson, anticipate a comprehensive session covering fundamental techniques such as prone, kneeling, and standing stances.
You'll also learn about tidal movements, weather patterns, and ideal paddleboarding spots. Gain confidence in safety and rescue techniques while exploring the stunning coastline of South Devon.
Join us at North Sands car park, Salcombe, conveniently located next to the Winking Prawn. Look out for a member of our team at the car park entrance.
Please note, it's a pay-and-display car park. Three hours should suffice for your session if you do need to park a car here.

Yes, absolutely.
Paddleboarding is meant to be a relaxed water activity, and we want to keep it that way. If you need a break then there are plenty of places to jump off or sit down at any point.

All participants must be at least 8 years old. Younger participants must be competent swimmers with previous paddleboarding experience.
The BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddleboard Association) are a training and standards organisation dedicated to promoting a culture of safety within the SUP industry. Our instructors are BSUPA-qualified.
We’d love to be able to guarantee the weather, but unfortunately, we can’t. As adventure providers, we are constantly monitoring the weather conditions and sea states to deliver the most professional and safe trip possible. If it looks like the weather is against us on the day, we’ll let you know a day or two in advance. If on the day we have to cancel due to bad weather, we offer a full refund or the chance to reschedule. But hopefully, the sun will always shine!
