Come on a comprehensive SUP experience led by our expert guides. The day begins with a detailed briefing covering equipment familiarisation and safety protocols. As you paddle along the River Dart and South West coastline, you'll practice paddle techniques and learn to navigate diverse water conditions.
Our guides will teach journey planning, including safe navigation in challenging scenarios like wind, tides, and rips. Experience hands-on rescue techniques such as self-rescue and peer-assisted rescues, ensuring you're prepared for any eventuality on the water.
Based in Dartmouth, Devon, our centre offers access to some of the most scenic waters in the UK. The River Dart provides a perfect setting for learning and honing your SUP skills amidst beautiful scenery.
No prior SUP experience is required, making this trip suitable for beginners and intermediate paddlers alike. Participants should be aged 15 or over and reasonably fit to enjoy a full day of paddling.
We pride ourselves on offering tailored SUP experiences that cater to all levels of ability. Established in 2011 by founder Ben, our centre boasts a team of over 15 experienced coaches and a diverse fleet of 40+ sea kayaks.
Whether you're looking to explore scenic waterways or refine your paddling techniques, our friendly guides are committed to ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and educational experience for every participant.
We recommend bringing appropriate clothing such as a cag and dry trousers or a drysuit.
Wetsuit boots or kayak boots are also essential.
Experienced paddlers are encouraged to bring their own equipment. However, we provide all necessary technical gear that you may not have.
Participants must be aged 15 or above to join our SUP Guided Trip.
To ensure personalised instruction, our groups are limited to a maximum of 6 participants per trip.
Your safety is our priority. In the event of unsuitable weather conditions, we may offer an alternative date.
