Experience the coast from a kayak on calm waters sheltered by mountains. These sessions offer a practical introduction to sea kayaking with friendly instruction and time to enjoy exploring the Loch . Whether you’re trying it for the first time or have some experience, the sessions provide an easy way to get on the water.
Starting with a safety briefing and basic paddling technique on shore, the short session introduces you to handling the kayak in calm waters of the loch. We also have a half day which extends the experience by allowing more time to explore coves, islands, and beaches, often with chances to see seals and local wildlife. Our full day session includes a longer trip along the coast or nearby islands, with a flexible itinerary tailored to conditions and group preference.
During the longer tours, there’s time to rest on beaches or islands and enjoy the environment around you. Your guide will share local knowledge about the landscape and wildlife as you paddle, keeping the pace relaxed and accessible for everyone. All sessions include equipment fitting and safety instruction before you set off.
