First Aid

First aid is the most useful skill most people never get round to learning. It is the difference between freezing and acting when someone is hurt, and outdoors, where help can be a long way off, that difference is bigger still. The good news is it is very learnable, and a good course makes it stick.

Courses range from a half-day basics session to full outdoor and workplace qualifications. They are hands-on rather than death-by-slideshow, with plenty of practice on the things that actually happen on hills, water and trails.
