Discover the exhilarating world of freediving with our introductory experience in Cornwall. Designed for those curious about the sport, this session offers a safe and enjoyable way to dip your toes into freediving without committing to a full certification course. Whether you want to enhance your snorkelling skills or explore the underwater environment, this experience is perfect for you.
The session begins with an introduction and theory lesson, where you'll learn the fundamentals of freediving, including essential safety practices. This is followed by breathing techniques, helping you to stay calm and extend your dive time effectively.
Next, we cover equalisation techniques to ensure you can equalise pressure comfortably while diving. Once you're ready, you'll move to the water session, applying your new skills and exploring depths up to 5 metres under the guidance of a professional instructor.
Finally, the experience concludes with a wrap-up and feedback session, where you'll receive personalised tips and earn the SSI ‘Try Freedive’ recognition rating.
This course takes place at the beautiful Porthkerris Cove, providing a scenic and peaceful environment for your freediving experience.
