All centres are vetted for safety and quality. Your adventure is in good hands with adventuro.
Ride the waves, float the calm sections, and laugh your way through a white water tubing session on the River Tummel. With a great mix of Class 3 and 4 rapids followed by mellow pools, it’s an exciting way to get stuck into white water without needing to be an expert. Private bookings are available for up to 12 people, making it perfect for groups looking to do something different together.
You’ll start by meeting your guide at the riverside, where you’ll go through a full briefing and get kitted out with your wetsuit, helmet, buoyancy aid and tube. Once everyone’s ready and confident in the basics, the group will head to the launch point and begin the descent. Expect short bursts of rapids followed by still water where you can regroup and catch your breath — and maybe recover your tube if you've taken an unexpected dip.
The route includes a mix of playful wave sections, deeper channels, and space to relax between features. Depending on conditions and how your group’s feeling, you may also get the chance to try a swim rapid or optional jump. All sessions are guided and tailored to your comfort level, with safety at the heart of everything. After your run, you’ll return to the start, change out of your wetsuits and enjoy a hot drink with the rest of your group.
Years of guiding experience, both in Scotland and internationally, have helped shape a centre that prioritises quality over volume. The team works hard to make sure each trip is personal, welcoming, and enjoyable, without cutting corners. Whether you’re here to try something new or mark a special occasion, you’ll get expert support and a properly fun day on the water.
Efforts to reduce environmental impact are ongoing. The company uses compostable cups, eco-friendly detergents, and supports rewilding and tree planting through a partnership with Trees for Life. Attention to detail and a love for what they do sets this team apart — with every session delivered by people who know and care about the rivers they guide on.
Parking is available close to the meeting point along quiet local roads near the River Tummel. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive detailed directions and specific parking instructions to make arrival straightforward. The parking area is suitable for cars and small vehicles, providing convenient access for individuals and groups.
From the parking spot, it’s just a short walk to the riverbank where your guide will meet you. There is space to get changed into your wetsuit and prepare your equipment before the session begins. While there are no permanent facilities on site, your guide will provide all the necessary gear and support to ensure a smooth start to your tubing adventure.
