What should I bring to the course?

You will need to bring personal clothing suitable for outdoor climbing, including layers to accommodate various weather conditions. It's also a good idea to bring your own climbing shoes and chalk bag if you prefer, although centre-provided equipment will be available. Don’t forget to bring a packed lunch and snacks for the day.

Do I need to have previous climbing experience?

Yes, you should have prior experience with climbing. You must have belayed at least 20 times and seconded at least 20 rock climbs at VDiff or above, or have led 20 sport climbs (indoors or outdoors). This ensures you have a solid foundation before progressing to trad climbing.

What happens if the weather isn’t suitable for climbing?

If the weather is deemed unsafe for climbing, the course will be rescheduled or an alternative activity will be arranged if possible. You will be notified as soon as possible if this occurs, and we will work with you to rearrange the session.

Where do we meet for the course?

The meeting point will be confirmed closer to the course date. Generally, we will meet at the crag location or a nearby parking area, and detailed instructions will be sent to you before the course begins.

Are meals or accommodation included?

Meals and accommodation are not included in the course price. You are responsible for your own meals, and we recommend bringing a packed lunch and plenty of water for the day. If you need recommendations for nearby accommodations, we can provide guidance upon request.

Can I book the course for a group?

Yes, the course is open to individuals or small groups, with a maximum of 3 participants per session. If you would like to book for a larger group or for a private session, please contact us via the adventuro chat in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
