Spend a full day exploring Palma Bay aboard a traditional-style electric llaüt, combining relaxed coastal cruising with swimming stops, snorkelling and paddle boarding. With six hours on the water, this experience allows you to reach quieter areas of the coastline while enjoying views of Palma Cathedral and the surrounding bay from the sea.
Designed for small groups looking for a slower pace, the trip blends time in the water, local coastal scenery and environmentally conscious navigation without the noise and emissions of a traditional motorboat.
The day begins at the Port of Palma, where you’ll board the electric llaüt and leave the marina behind as you head out into Palma Bay. The electric motor provides smooth and quiet cruising, creating a more relaxed atmosphere on board while allowing you to enjoy the coastline and sea conditions without constant engine noise.
With six hours on the water, the experience offers the opportunity to explore a wider area of the bay than shorter trips. Depending on weather and sea conditions, the skipper may navigate towards quieter coves and swimming areas away from the busier sections of the coastline. Throughout the day, there is time to swim, snorkel and use the paddle boards in sheltered water areas, while the underwater sea scooter adds another way to explore below the surface.
Between stops, guests can relax on board with drinks, fruit and Mallorcan snacks while taking in views back towards Palma Cathedral and the city skyline. The longer format creates a more flexible and unhurried experience, making it ideal for groups wanting to spend a proper day at sea without rushing between activities.
This experience departs from the Port of Palma on Mallorca’s south coast. Palma Bay offers a varied stretch of coastline with open sea views, marinas, swimming areas and smaller coves accessible by boat.
The area is particularly well suited to full-day cruising due to its combination of sheltered sections and wider coastal routes. From the water, guests enjoy a different perspective of Palma’s waterfront, including the Cathedral and surrounding coastline, while also reaching quieter areas away from the city itself.
No previous boating or watersports experience is required for this experience. Guests should simply feel comfortable around water if planning to swim or use the included snorkelling and paddle boarding equipment.
Participants should bring swimwear, towels and sunscreen. As this is a full-day experience with extended time outdoors, hats, sunglasses and lightweight protective clothing are also strongly recommended during warmer months.
Using a fully electric boat allows guests to experience Mallorca’s coastline in a quieter and lower-impact way compared to traditional motorboats. The reduced noise changes the atmosphere on board and creates a more comfortable environment for swimming, relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.
The experience is designed around small groups and responsible enjoyment of the marine environment. Combining traditional Mallorcan boating style with modern electric technology offers a different approach to exploring the island’s coastline while supporting more sustainable boating practices.
The experience lasts approximately six hours, running from around 10:00am until 4:00pm. This longer duration allows guests to explore more of Palma Bay while enjoying multiple swimming and relaxation stops throughout the day.
The extended time on the water also creates a much more flexible pace compared to shorter tours, with plenty of opportunity to swim, paddle board or simply relax on board between locations.
The six-hour format allows the skipper to cover a wider area of the coastline and potentially reach quieter coves and swimming spots further from the busier marina areas around Palma.
Guests also benefit from more time to use the included equipment, spend longer swimming stops in the water and enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere throughout the day without feeling rushed.
Yes. The boat uses an electric motor and battery system rather than a traditional fuel-powered engine. This provides quieter cruising and reduces emissions while navigating around Palma Bay.
The quieter navigation is one of the most noticeable parts of the experience, especially when anchored in coves or cruising along the coastline during calmer sea conditions.
Guests can swim, snorkel, paddle board and use the underwater sea scooter during the experience. All equipment required for these activities is included on board.
Participation is completely optional, and guests are free to choose how active they want to be during the day. Many visitors enjoy a combination of swimming, relaxing and coastal sightseeing.

Yes, the trip is suitable for families and mixed-age groups. Children should always remain supervised by an adult during the experience, particularly during swimming activities.
The quieter electric navigation and relaxed pace often make the experience more comfortable for guests who prefer a calmer day on the water.
Guests should bring swimwear, towels, sunscreen, sunglasses and suitable clothing for spending extended time outdoors. A hat is strongly recommended during warmer months due to sun exposure on the water.
All boating and activity equipment is already provided, so there is no need to bring snorkelling or paddle boarding gear unless preferred.
Safety remains the priority for all departures. If weather or sea conditions make navigation unsafe, the experience may be rescheduled or cancelled with alternative arrangements offered where possible.
Cloudy conditions alone are not normally considered grounds for cancellation unless they affect overall safety on the water.
