Whether you’re heading out for sightseeing, training, or commuting, you’ll get local advice and bike setup support to help you make the most of your time on two wheels.
Once you arrive, staff will talk you through the different bike types available—from traditional men’s and women’s city bikes to Trek hybrid touring models, mountain bikes and children's options. Each bike is regularly serviced, and the team will make sure your chosen ride is fitted to suit your height and comfort before you set off. Helmets can be hired as an optional extra.
Maps and suggested routes are available, helping you explore London in a way that suits your plans—whether you’re after quiet park trails, cycle-friendly commutes, or a loop around major landmarks. Riders are encouraged to ask questions and share their plans so staff can offer route ideas and safety tips to match.
The hire base is located in Kennington, south London, within easy reach of the city centre. It’s roughly a 20-minute cycle to Hyde Park and well-connected to nearby transport links.
The area gives quick access to cycle routes heading into Westminster, along the Thames, or out toward quieter green spaces like Burgess Park and Battersea Park.
You must present a valid form of ID when hiring a bike and agree to the centre’s terms and conditions, which include taking responsibility for the bike while it’s in your care.
Riders should be confident with basic cycling skills and aware of common rules for cycling in urban areas.
The centre is run by a knowledgeable team who focus on making cycle hire simple, friendly, and accessible. Whether you’re a local needing a temporary ride or a visitor wanting to see the city differently, the service is tailored to suit your needs.
Bikes are kept in excellent condition and advice is always available to help you plan your route safely and enjoyably.

If a bike is lost or stolen, you are responsible for the cost as if you owned it.
If you get a puncture, please bring the bike back to us by walking, train, or taxi.
We will repair the puncture free of charge or exchange the bike. Do not ride on a flat tyre as it can damage the wheel, potentially leading to repair costs.
We offer a broad range of bikes to suit different needs and rider preferences. Our fleet includes traditional men’s and women’s city bikes, Trek hybrid bikes, Trek hybrid touring bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes (male and female frames), and children’s bikes.
If you're planning a relaxed ride through central London or the parks, a traditional or hybrid bike is ideal. For longer distances or hillier routes, the Trek hybrid touring models offer more gears and comfort features. Mountain bikes are best if you’re heading towards rougher tracks or want a more robust frame. Our e-bikes are popular for riders who want a bit of extra assistance, especially on longer days out.
Our staff are on hand to help you choose the best bike for your route, fitness level, and experience. Every hire includes a bike fitting and safety check before you ride away.
