Already have the skills and just need the equipment? These kitesurf rental options allow experienced riders to get out on the water with quality gear, whether you need a complete setup or only a specific item. Flexible hire periods make it easy to plan a full day on the beach or enjoy a shorter session when the conditions are right.
Equipment hire is designed for confident, independent kitesurfers who want to enjoy the conditions without travelling with all of their own gear. Depending on your needs, you can hire a complete setup including everything required for a session or simply rent individual items if you already own part of your equipment. Every piece of gear is checked before being handed over, allowing you to collect it and head straight to the beach.
Before the rental begins, the team will confirm that you're capable of riding independently and safely. This includes being able to control the kite without assistance, recover from difficult situations, and ride upwind confidently. These requirements help ensure both your safety and the condition of the equipment. If the instructors believe your current ability doesn't meet the required standard, they reserve the right to refuse the rental.
Once you're ready, you're free to make the most of the wind and the open coastline of Sant Pere Pescador using equipment that's maintained by experienced kitesurfers. At the end of your session, simply return everything before 7:00pm so the gear can be inspected, cleaned, and prepared for the next rider. If any equipment is damaged during your hire, repair costs remain the responsibility of the renter.
Equipment collection takes place in Sant Pere Pescador, one of Catalonia's most popular destinations for kitesurfing thanks to its dependable wind conditions and long sandy beach. You'll collect your equipment close to Carrer del Mar before making your way onto the beach.
The surrounding area offers plenty of space to rig your equipment comfortably before launching. Nearby cafés, restaurants, and local amenities also make it easy to spend the entire day by the coast, whether you're planning a quick session or making the most of a full day's hire.
Equipment rental is only available for experienced, self-sufficient kitesurfers. You should already be able to control a kite confidently, ride in both directions, and maintain an upwind course without assistance.
The team will assess whether your experience is suitable before approving the hire. This helps ensure the equipment is used safely and remains in excellent condition for everyone.
Hiring equipment directly from the local school gives you access to modern, well-maintained gear that's regularly checked by experienced instructors. Flexible rental options mean you only pay for the equipment you actually need, whether that's a complete setup or individual items.
Alex and the team are passionate about helping riders enjoy safe, enjoyable sessions on the water. Their local knowledge and commitment to maintaining high-quality equipment provide extra confidence before you head out.
Equipment rental is reserved for independent kitesurfers who already have the skills to manage themselves safely on the water. You should be comfortable controlling the kite without assistance, recovering from unexpected situations, riding confidently in both directions, and maintaining an upwind course.
These requirements are in place to protect both the rider and the equipment. Before approving your hire, the instructors may ask about your experience or observe your ability, and they reserve the right to decline the rental if they feel the conditions or your current skill level make it unsuitable.
Generally, no. Equipment hire is intended for riders who no longer require instruction or close supervision while they're on the water.
If you're still learning or aren't yet consistently riding upwind, booking another lesson is the safer option. This allows you to continue developing your skills with instructor support while using the same quality equipment provided during tuition.
You can choose between a complete equipment package or individual items, depending on what you already own. This makes it easy to travel lighter or replace specific equipment for the day if needed.
Whether you're hiring a full setup, a kite and bar, or simply a board, every item is prepared before collection so you can maximise your time on the water rather than worrying about equipment checks.
Yes. Every item is inspected before being handed over to ensure it's ready for use and in good working condition.
This gives you confidence that the equipment has been prepared properly while also allowing the team to explain anything specific about the setup before your session begins.
You can choose between a two-hour hire for a shorter session or a full day's rental if you plan to spend longer on the water.
Having both options allows you to fit your hire around the weather, your travel plans, or simply the amount of time you'd like to spend kitesurfing during your visit.
All hired equipment must be returned before 7:00pm on the day of your booking, regardless of which rental option you've selected.
Returning everything on time allows the team to inspect, clean, and prepare the equipment for the next customer while ensuring any maintenance can be completed if necessary.
If any rented equipment is damaged during your hire period, you will be responsible for the full cost of the repairs required.
Because specialist kitesurf equipment is designed to perform in demanding conditions, it's important to use it appropriately and inspect everything before heading onto the water so any existing issues can be identified beforehand.
No. The rental does not include insurance for accidental damage to the equipment.
For that reason, it's important only to hire equipment if you're confident in your ability and understand that repair costs remain the responsibility of the person renting the equipment.
Collection takes place in Sant Pere Pescador, close to Carrer del Mar, giving you quick access to the beach once you've collected your equipment.
The location is convenient for heading straight onto the water, allowing you to spend less time organising your session and more time riding.
