No, this session is designed for complete beginners. Our qualified instructors will guide you through the basics, and success is guaranteed. No previous experience is needed.

We provide all the necessary equipment, including a wakeboard, wetsuit, impact vest, helmet, and buoyancy aid. You’ll just need to bring your own swimwear to wear under the wetsuit and a towel for after your session.

The standard taster session is 1 hour and is shared with up to 3 participants. During quieter periods (such as spring, autumn, or weekdays), sessions may be 20 minutes long and one-on-one with an instructor.

You’ll start with a brief on-land demonstration to learn the basics of wakeboarding, including stance, how to get up on the board, and riding in a straight line. Once on the water, you’ll practise dock starts, riding straight, and balancing on the board using our System 2.0 Cable.

The taster session is suitable for participants aged 14 and over. For children under 14, we recommend booking a private lesson or joining one of our kids' wakeboarding courses designed specifically for younger riders.

Yes, wakeboarding is safe, and we provide all the necessary safety equipment, including impact vests and helmets. However, participants need to be water-confident and able to swim.

We run wakeboarding sessions in most weather conditions, including light rain. However, for safety reasons, we may cancel the session if there are strong winds or lightning. If your session is cancelled due to weather, we will work with you to reschedule at no extra cost.

We offer full facilities, including changing rooms, hot showers, lockers, and a café where you can relax after your session. We also provide disabled access for those who need it.

We provide wetsuits to keep you warm even in cooler conditions. If it’s particularly cold, consider wearing a thermal layer underneath your wetsuit for added comfort.

We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before your session to check in, get changed, and receive the on-land demonstration before heading out on the water.
