Suitable for beginners and those wanting to refine their skills, the course combines theory and hands-on practice in calm, sheltered waters. Flexible options include 1, 2, or 5-day courses to fit your schedule and goals.
You’ll begin with a brief theoretical introduction covering boat rigging, sail trimming, and basic sailing principles. The bulk of the course is practical, conducted on the water where you’ll learn to steer, tack, gybe, and respond to wind conditions under the guidance of a qualified instructor. Lessons are tailored to your level, allowing newcomers to build confidence and experienced sailors to hone specific skills.
Practice sessions take place in Alcudia Bay’s protected waters, known for calm seas and consistent winds ideal for learning. The instructor will provide step-by-step support, ensuring you develop safe and effective sailing techniques while enjoying the natural surroundings.

The bay offers a spacious, sheltered environment with gentle winds and calm waters, creating perfect conditions for beginners to learn sailing without stress. Nearby facilities include changing rooms and secure storage for personal items and equipment.
The region’s Mediterranean climate guarantees pleasant weather during most of the year, making it suitable for outdoor water sports. The scenic coastline and easy access to the marina add to the convenience and enjoyment of the course location.
No previous sailing experience is necessary, making the course ideal for those new to the sport. Participants should be comfortable in water and possess a reasonable level of fitness to fully benefit from the practical sessions.
A willingness to learn and participate actively will enhance your progress. The course pace can be adjusted for individual needs, ensuring a positive and rewarding experience for all.
The school focuses on delivering personalised, hands-on sailing instruction led by qualified and experienced instructors. As part of the activity, all necessary safety and technical equipment is provided. This includes professional-grade nautical equipment, buoyancy vests, and insurance cover for both liability and accidents. The aim is to provide a safe, comfortable, and well-supported experience from start to finish, with everything you need available on-site.
If weather conditions on the day of your reservation prevent the activity from going ahead, there’s no need to worry. Your booking is flexible, and the team will work with you to reschedule for another available slot before the end of your holiday. Mallorca’s weather can change quickly, but safety is always the priority. If the forecast poses any risk or would negatively impact the quality of the session, the activity will be postponed. In most cases, an alternative day can be found, and you’ll be informed in plenty of time if there’s any need to rearrange.
The activity takes place in a designated area within the bay at Port d’Alcudia, which is known for its calm waters and scenic surroundings. There’s a clearly marked nautical channel that ensures a safe and organised area for watersports. This location allows for a safe and enjoyable experience regardless of your ability level, making it suitable for most participants.
The full address is Paseo Marítimo, 1, 07400 Port d’Alcudia, on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. The port area is easy to access and well-equipped, with nearby cafes and facilities if you want to relax before or after your session. The calm conditions of the bay also make it an ideal location for first-time participants or those looking to build confidence on the water.
To get the most out of your session, it's recommended to come prepared with a few basic items. You’ll need a swimsuit, a cap or visor for sun protection, sunglasses, and sunscreen to help protect against the midday heat. A towel is also a good idea for drying off afterwards, especially if you’re planning to change at the on-site facilities.
For your feet, bring water shoes such as flip-flops, aqua booties or other non-slip footwear. This will help you move comfortably around the shore and equipment area, especially if surfaces are wet or uneven. Staying hydrated is also important, so bringing a water bottle is advisable, particularly on hotter days.
