Sail along Mallorca’s coastline on a relaxed shared yacht excursion, discovering hidden coves, clear waters, and quiet anchorages with a small group of fellow travellers. Whether you choose a half-day escape or a longer full-day adventure from Portocolom, this experience combines sailing, swimming, and time to enjoy some of the island’s most beautiful coastal locations.
After meeting at the marina in either Alcudia or Portocolom, you'll board the yacht and be welcomed by your captain before setting sail along the coastline. The smaller group size creates a relaxed atmosphere, giving everyone plenty of space to enjoy the experience. As the yacht leaves the harbour behind, you'll have the opportunity to take in the coastal scenery while learning more about the local area from your skipper.
Half-day excursions are available from both Alcudia and Portocolom and include a leisurely sail to a beautiful cove where the yacht will anchor for a swimming stop. During your time at anchor, you can swim in the sea, use the snorkelling equipment provided, relax on deck, or simply enjoy the surroundings before returning to port. Snacks and drinks are served during the trip, making it ideal for those looking to fit a sailing experience into a busy day of exploring Mallorca. Guests may also have the opportunity to steer the yacht under the captain’s supervision.
Full-day excursions are available from Portocolom and provide even more time on the water. You'll visit two different coves along Mallorca’s east coast, with opportunities to swim, snorkel, sunbathe, and relax onboard between sailing legs. A homemade meal is served during the day together with soft drinks, beer, and wine. The longer itinerary allows you to experience more of the coastline while enjoying a full day at sea with a small group.
Departures are available from Alcudia on Mallorca’s northern coast and from Portocolom on the east coast. Alcudia is known for its sweeping bay, clear waters, and impressive coastal scenery, with a collection of coves and beaches that are best appreciated from the sea. Half-day trips from here explore areas around the Bay of Alcudia and nearby coves along the coastline.
Portocolom is one of Mallorca’s largest natural harbours and provides access to a variety of sheltered coves and swimming spots. Half-day trips visit beautiful nearby anchorages, while full-day excursions venture further along the east coast to explore multiple coves and secluded bays. The harbour itself offers a traditional maritime atmosphere and serves as an excellent starting point for a day on the water.
No previous sailing experience is required, and guests of all ages are welcome to join. The experience is designed to be accessible for families, couples, friends, and solo travellers looking to enjoy time on the water.
Comfortable clothing, swimwear, sun protection, and a towel are recommended. Anyone wishing to swim should feel confident in and around the water, although participation in swimming activities is entirely optional.
With a maximum of just 10 guests onboard, the experience offers a more personal alternative to larger boat trips. Smaller group sizes allow for a relaxed atmosphere, more space to enjoy the yacht, and greater flexibility when visiting Mallorca’s coves and anchorages.
Guests can enjoy a combination of sailing, swimming, local hospitality, and time spent discovering parts of the coastline that are difficult to access by land. The opportunity to steer the yacht under the captain’s guidance also adds a memorable hands-on element to the day.
