Drive a futuristic jet car across the Indian Ocean and experience Zanzibar’s coastline from a completely different perspective. This private session combines water-based driving with professional drone footage delivered the next day. With controlled riding zones and optional hotel transfers, everything is organised for a smooth and memorable experience.
On arrival at Kendwa or Nungwi Beach, you’ll receive a safety briefing covering controls and riding boundaries. The jet car operates similarly to a jet ski but offers a more stable, seated driving position. Once comfortable, you’ll head out into the designated riding area under supervision.
You can choose to drive yourself or relax as a passenger, depending on preference. For part of the session, a professional drone will follow from above, capturing dynamic aerial angles as you move across the turquoise water. During shorter sessions, approximately 5–10 minutes are dedicated to drone filming to ensure high-quality content.
The remaining time allows you to explore the riding zone at your own pace, within safe limits set by the guide. Edited photos and videos are professionally prepared and delivered the next day, giving you polished content ready to share.
The activity takes place at Nungwi or Kendwa Beach in northern Zanzibar. These beaches provide suitable coastal conditions for supervised water-based vehicle activities. The final location is selected based on weather and sea state to ensure safe operation.
Northern Zanzibar offers wide sandy shores and open coastal space, creating ideal conditions for controlled jet car sessions. Optional hotel pickup and drop-off are available depending on your booking selection.
No previous experience is required. The activity is designed to be accessible for beginners, with full instruction provided before departure. Participants must be comfortable around water and able to follow safety instructions.
This experience is not recommended for pregnant travellers due to movement on the water. Infants are not permitted to sit on laps, and the activity is not wheelchair accessible.
