Had an amazing time with Murray in a beautiful location on the Moray Firth. Looking forward to my second lesson towards the end of the month. Left the first lesson feeling good with the kite and ready to progress.

Embark on an exciting wingfoiling adventure with our specialised lessons, designed for individuals with previous experience in wind sports. Wingfoiling, a fusion of kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing, and SUP with a hydrofoil, offers a unique experience on both flat and wavy waters, and even inland venues. Our lessons follow the BKSA syllabus and are perfect for those ready to transition to foiling or enhance their skills in this exhilarating sport.
Your sessions will be tailored to you, and vary depending on the number of sessions you have, but we will cover the following:
Lessons are conducted at prime locations along the Moray Firth Coast, including Ardersier, Nairn, and Findhorn. These beaches offer ideal conditions for Wingfoiling, with safe, standing-depth waters. We will communicate a location upon booking, based on conditions for the day.
We are a unique and dedicated wind sports school in the Scottish Highlands, offering professional lessons in various disciplines. Our experienced instructors, personalised 1:1 teaching, and beautiful coastal locations make us the perfect choice for your wingfoiling journey. Whether you're refining your skills or transitioning to new aspects of wind sports, our lessons are tailored to meet your needs. Join us for a thrilling experience in Wingfoiling, where you'll not only enhance your skills but also enjoy the beauty and challenge of the Scottish coast.
Wingfoiling is a wind sport where you ride on a board equipped with a hydrofoil, using a handheld wing/Sail for propulsion, allowing for a unique gliding experience over water.
Comfortable sportswear suitable for water activities is recommended. Wetsuits and safety gear are not provided.
Participants should be at least 16 years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
We reschedule lessons to ensure optimal learning conditions and safety. However, we are a mobile school, so we will do our best to find a beach with the right conditions on the day.
Participants need to arrange their own transport. Location details will be provided upon booking.
While we provide all necessary equipment, experienced participants can use their gear if preferred.
Our courses focus on skill development and offer formal certification. We provide the necessary skills for independent practice and further advancement in the sport.
Prior wind sport experience is important before trying wingfoiling because it provides foundational skills in wind awareness, balance, and equipment handling. These skills are crucial for managing the dynamics of the wing and the foil. Understanding wind patterns, controlling the board, and maintaining balance are all enhanced by previous experience in similar sports like kitesurfing or windsurfing, making the transition to wingfoiling safer and more effective.
