Get out on the water independently with windsurfing or SUP board hire along the Malmö coastline. This rental is designed for those with prior experience who want to practise, explore, or spend time on the water at their own pace.
This is a self-guided rental session designed for independent use. After collecting your equipment at the scheduled time, you’ll head onto the water to practise or explore freely along the Malmö coastline.
If you choose windsurfing, you’ll be using stable boards and appropriate sail sizes depending on conditions, allowing you to refine technique or enjoy freer sailing. For SUP, the focus is more relaxed, giving you the option to paddle along the shoreline and explore at your own pace.
The rental is aligned with lesson schedules so that staff are available to assist with equipment collection and return. There is no coaching included, so you should be confident managing the equipment and making your own decisions on the water.
The rental takes place along the Malmö coastline, typically in the Ribersborg and Limhamn area. The shallow, sandy shoreline makes it accessible for launching and landing, particularly for those who have recently completed lessons.
You’ll collect your equipment from the centre setup near the water. The area provides a straightforward launch point and open space for practising, with conditions that are generally suitable for independent sessions depending on the weather.
This rental is not suitable for complete beginners. Windsurfers should have completed at least beginner Day 1 and Day 2 sessions or have equivalent experience, including the ability to sail in both directions and return safely to shore.
Participants must be confident managing equipment independently and be comfortable in the water. You are responsible for both your own safety and the safe return of the equipment.
The equipment is designed to be adaptable and user-friendly, making it easier to continue progressing outside of structured lessons. Having access to the right board and sail setup allows you to practise effectively without being limited by unsuitable gear.
The coastal location provides a practical and accessible environment for independent sessions, with shallow launch areas and open water for practising. It’s a straightforward way to build confidence and spend more time on the water between lessons.
