Enjoy the classic easy group rafting trip on the Vjosa River with manageable rapids, certified guides and a welcoming pace for first timers and families. You'll start at the riverside base in Përmet where staff fit life jackets, helmets and wetsuits and explain paddle commands and river safety. A short transfer then takes you to the put in on an easy section chosen for beginners and mixed ability groups rather than our moderate rapids adventure.
On the water you paddle as a team through scenic stretches with splashy but manageable rapids, pausing for photos and rest breaks while guides keep the pace relaxed. The route emphasises enjoyment and confidence rather than heavy white water, with time to take in the clear pools and mountain views along the riverbank.
After the run you'll return to base to dry off, enjoy drinking water and seasonal fruit, and collect free photos and videos from the river. Staff help you change and are happy to suggest things to explore in Përmet after you're off the water.
