Share a gentle rafting run on the Vjosa River with family friendly pacing, certified guides and calm sections chosen for children and first time paddlers. You'll meet at our riverside base in Përmet in southern Albania, inside the Vjosa Wild River National Park.
You'll start at the riverside base in Përmet where staff fit life jackets, helmets and wetsuits and explain paddle commands and river safety. A short transfer then takes you to the put in on calmer stretches of the Vjosa chosen for younger guests and beginners.
On the water you paddle as a team through scenic sections with splashy but manageable rapids, pausing for photos and rest breaks while guides keep the pace relaxed. The route emphasises enjoyment and confidence rather than heavy white water, with plenty of time to take in the mountain views along the riverbank.
After the run you'll return to base to dry off, enjoy drinking water and seasonal fruit, and collect free photos and videos from the river. Staff help you change and are happy to answer any questions about the trip or the Përmet area.
