Sixty minutes of flying from Pokhara puts you beside a licensed pilot in an ultralight, heading toward Machhapuchhare and the Annapurna wall. We'll collect you from your hotel and drive you to the domestic airfield. Passenger weight is limited to 100 kg, and video of the flight is extra if you want it.
We'll collect you from your Pokhara hotel, often around 6:00, and drive you to Pokhara Domestic Airport. Weight is checked against the 100 kg passenger limit before you strap in beside the pilot. Typical launches are early morning or after 15:00.
After check-in and a brief you'll fly 60 minutes at around 12,000 feet and 90 to 130 km/h, around Pokhara and toward Machhapuchhare. On a clear day Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu sit on the same skyline.
You'll land back at the same airfield, and we'll drive you to your hotel. Video of the flight is extra if you want it. The flight needs a stable sky; if the hill cloud sits in, we'll move the launch rather than send you up in poor air.
Pokhara's airfield sits on the valley floor, with the lake below the ridge and the Annapurna wall above. The ultralight works this airspace: city, foothills, and the edge of Fishtail.
You start and finish at your hotel. The flight itself leaves from Pokhara Domestic Airport, a short drive from Lakeside. Morning air is usually the clearest for the 7,900-metre peaks.
You do not need flying experience. You should be comfortable in a small aircraft, able to follow the pilot's brief, and within the 100 kg passenger limit.
The minimum age is 13. Bring your original passport. Wear layers and sunglasses. Tell us about any neck, back, or heart condition before you come. The flight needs a stable sky.
CAAN-registered minutes in the air sit behind a hotel transfer and a desk check at Pokhara Domestic, so you meet the pilot with your passport already seen. Our Kathmandu team in Lazimpat has been placing guests on these mountain flights for more than two decades, with English-speaking guides on the ground.
Aircraft are registered with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal. We'll handle pickup and the return drive. If the hill cloud sits in, we'll move the launch rather than send you up in poor air.
We'll collect you from your Pokhara hotel, often around 6:00, and drive you to Pokhara Domestic Airport. Bring your original passport for the desk. The usual launch window is early morning, or after 15:00.
You'll fly about 60 minutes at around 12,000 feet and 90 to 130 km/h, around Pokhara and toward Machhapuchhare, with Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu on a clear skyline. You sit beside the pilot. Passenger weight is limited to 100 kg.
After you land, we'll drive you back to your Pokhara hotel. Video of the flight is an optional extra on the day and is not included in the standard booking.

The flight is booked as about 60 minutes in the air. Typical launch windows are early morning, around 6:30 in summer and 7:00 in winter, or after 15:00 when the afternoon air is quieter.
We'll collect you from your Pokhara hotel about an hour before take-off and drive you to Pokhara Domestic Airport. After you land, the same vehicle takes you back.
You'll fly at about 12,000 feet and 90 to 130 km/h, around Pokhara, through the valley, and toward Machhapuchhare (Fishtail). The line covers the Annapurna circle and the foothills.
On a clear day you can see Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu, all above 7,900 metres. Photographers often book this flight to work close to those walls.
The aircraft carries the pilot and one passenger. Passenger weight is limited to 100 kg. The machine itself is limited to 600 kg including people and up to 90 litres of fuel.
There are two ultralight types in use: a delta-wing and a fixed-wing. Both are registered with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal. We'll confirm which aircraft is flying on your morning.
The minimum age is 13. You sit beside the pilot. You do not need previous flying experience, but you should be comfortable in an open or lightly enclosed cockpit and follow the brief.
Bring your original passport for registration. Wear layers; it is cooler at 12,000 feet than on Lakeside.
Yes. Hotel pickup and drop-off in Pokhara are included. A typical morning collect is around 6:00 for a 7:00 launch.
Have the hotel name ready when you book. If you are not on Lakeside, tell us so we can plan the extra drive to the domestic terminal.
Video of the flight is available at an extra charge on the day. It is not part of the standard booking.
You may carry a small camera if the pilot is happy with it. Hold it on a strap; loose phones are a poor idea in an ultralight.
Wear comfortable layered clothes, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Bring your original passport.
Closed shoes are safer in the cockpit than sandals. A light jacket helps once you are at altitude.
You can cancel up to 24 hours before the activity for a full refund, in line with the Flexible policy.
Ultralight flights need a clear, stable morning or afternoon. If the wind or cloud is unsafe, we'll move you to a later slot or a new day.
