Take your diving to the next level with the Advanced Adventurer course. This unique programme allows you to try five different specialty areas, giving you a taste of what advanced training has to offer. If you're not sure which specialties to pursue, this is an ideal way to sample them before making your choice. Under the guidance of a qualified instructor, you will complete one open water training dive for each specialty, gaining valuable experience and skills along the way.
The course begins with an informative briefing, where your instructor will cover the key skills and techniques you will practice throughout the programme. You'll dive into five different specialties, each with its own open water session. The specialties you can try include deep diving, underwater navigation, and more. For each specialty, you will receive a detailed briefing, followed by practical application in the water, ensuring that you are well-prepared and safe throughout.
In between the open water sessions, there will be classroom-based academic sessions, where you will learn more about each specialty, covering theory, equipment, and dive planning. These sessions provide the necessary knowledge to make each dive enjoyable and safe. At the end of the programme, you will have gained experience in five different diving areas and have a strong foundation to continue your diving education with full specialty courses if you choose.

To participate in the Advanced Adventurer programme, you must have an Open Water Diver certification or equivalent from a recognised agency.
This course is designed to build on the skills and knowledge you've already gained and provide a taster of advanced diving techniques. There are no specific medical requirements, but you should be in good health and able to swim.

During this programme, you will try five different specialties, such as deep diving, underwater navigation, and other advanced diving techniques.
These specialties give you the opportunity to explore different aspects of diving before deciding if you'd like to pursue them further with full certification courses.
The course lasts between 10 and 15 hours in total. #
This time is divided into five academic sessions and five open water dives, each corresponding to one of the specialties.
Participants must be at least 10 years old to take part in the Advanced Adventurer course.
There is no upper age limit, but you should be in good health and able to swim comfortably.
You will need to bring a swimsuit, towel, and any personal dive gear such as a mask, fins, and snorkel.
Rental equipment for the course, including tanks, weights, and wetsuits, is included. If you don’t have your own mask or fins, we can provide them for you.
