Trying something different with a bow and arrow has never been easier. Soft archery games use specially designed foam-tipped arrows to create a variety of challenges and mini games suitable for children, adults, families, schools and group events.
After a short safety briefing, your coach will introduce the equipment and demonstrate the basic shooting techniques needed to get everyone hitting targets confidently. The foam-tipped arrows are designed to be safe while still providing the satisfaction of shooting a bow, making the activity suitable for complete beginners as well as those with previous experience.
Once everyone is comfortable, the session moves into a series of entertaining archery-based challenges and mini games. Participants may find themselves aiming at hoops, knocking over cans, testing accuracy with balance challenges or taking part in creative target games that encourage friendly competition. Scorecards are provided so groups can keep track of their progress throughout the session.
Games may include challenges such as Shoot the Hoop, Tin Can Alley, Clout, Balance Ball, Discus, Drop Shot and Rabbit, with plenty of opportunities to test your accuracy in different ways. Unlike traditional archery, the foam-tipped arrows allow for creative targets and obstacles, making every session varied and engaging.
Activities can take place at Sutton Green near Guildford, providing a convenient setting for groups looking to enjoy an outdoor archery experience. The surrounding Surrey countryside offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together before and after the session.
For added flexibility, the activity can also be brought directly to your chosen venue. Gardens, village halls, schools, sports fields, community centres and event spaces can all provide excellent settings, allowing groups to enjoy the experience without needing to travel to a dedicated activity centre.
No previous archery experience is required. The activity has been designed for beginners and experienced participants alike, with full instruction provided before any games begin.
Bookings are based on a minimum of eight participants and a maximum of twelve. Smaller groups are welcome to attend, although the minimum eight-person booking charge will still apply.
