Leave the city on a guided half-day and try a hand-picked lineup of pistols, rifles, and machine guns at an outdoor range about forty minutes from central Prague. Professional instructors brief you on safety, then coach you on the line whether it is your first shot or you want to sample several weapons in one visit.
We collect you in central Prague and drive you to the outdoor range in an air-conditioned bus. On arrival you meet your instructor, sign in, and go through a full safety briefing with ear and eye protection and protective vests before anyone handles live ammunition.
On the line you work through the guns included in your chosen package, with coaching on stance, grip, and controlled firing. Sessions are paced for mixed experience levels, and you can focus on one favourite weapon or rotate through the full set. A light lunch is served on site, and soft drinks are available after shooting before the return transfer to Prague.
The experience uses a professional outdoor range in the Prague countryside, roughly forty minutes from the city centre by road. Open-air lanes run from short pistol distances out to long rifle ranges, set in a controlled environment away from public footpaths.
Pickup is from selected central hotels, so you do not need to arrange your own transport to the range. If you prefer a city-based indoor session instead, ask when you book and we can point you to the Prague 2 indoor option where available.
No firearms licence is required for this experience. Guests aged twelve and over are welcome when accompanied according to local rules; younger children cannot take part on the firing line.
You should be comfortable standing at a bench or lane for the session and able to follow verbal safety instructions in English (other languages may be available on request). Inform us of any hearing sensitivity, pregnancy, or medical conditions that might affect participation before you travel.
Instructors come from Czech army and police backgrounds and run structured sessions for first-timers, stag groups, and curious travellers alike. Ammunition, targets, and protective equipment are included in the package you select.
Hotel pickup and return, on-site lunch, and clear package choices for how many guns you try make the day straightforward to plan. You book the gun count that suits your group, and live availability and pricing are confirmed when you choose your date.
Meet at your confirmed central hotel pickup point and board the air-conditioned bus with your group. The driver and guide check names against the booking list before departure.
The drive to the outdoor range takes roughly forty minutes through the Prague suburbs into the shooting grounds. Use the journey to ask questions about the guns in your package.
On arrival you register, receive ear and eye protection plus a protective vest, and join a structured safety briefing. Instructors explain range rules, commands, and how to handle each firearm before live fire.
No one goes hot until the briefing is complete. Listen for commands and stay behind the firing line until told otherwise.
Work through the firearms in your chosen package with one-on-one coaching. Instructors help with stance, sight picture, and controlled shots, rotating weapons according to the package size.
Pace adjusts for beginners and mixed groups. Ammunition and targets for the booked package are included.
After shooting, sit down for a light lunch on site with soft drinks provided. When the group is ready, the bus returns to central Prague and drops you at the agreed hotel zone.
Allow a little flexibility for traffic on the way back, especially at peak tourist times.
No licence is required for this guided experience. You shoot under instructor supervision on a licensed range with equipment and ammunition supplied for your package.
Bring a valid photo ID for range registration. Licence holders looking for prepaid range credit should contact us separately, as that product is different from this experience day.
When you book you choose a package covering three, four, five, seven, or ten different firearms. Each package is priced separately and defines how many weapons you try in the session.
You cannot add extra guns on the day without upgrading the booking, so pick the package that matches how much variety you want. Instructors still pace the line so everyone gets coaching on each weapon.
Pickup is from selected hotels in Prague city centre. We confirm the exact meeting point and time after you book, usually close to the Old Town or New Town hotel zones.
If you are staying outside the pickup zone, contact us before booking to see whether we can meet you at an agreed central point or whether you should travel to the range independently.
Plan around four hours door to door, including the bus ride, safety briefing, shooting time, lunch, and return to Prague. Active time on the range depends on your package and group size.
Traffic and hotel pickup order can shift start times slightly. Arrive at pickup ready to travel, with photo ID and comfortable clothing suitable for an outdoor range.
Participants must be at least twelve years old. Local rules and instructor discretion apply for younger teenagers, and children under twelve cannot fire on this experience.
Parents or guardians should travel with minors and expect to supervise behaviour off the line even when an instructor leads the shooting.
Yes, a light lunch is served at the range between or after shooting, depending on the schedule that day. Soft drinks are provided after your session before the bus returns to Prague.
Let us know dietary needs when you book if possible. The lunch is simple and designed to keep the day moving rather than a long restaurant stop.
Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes you can move in. The range provides vests and hearing protection, but avoid loose scarves or dangling jewellery that could catch on equipment.
Outdoor lanes can be breezy or cool outside summer, so bring a layer. Sunglasses are fine for the briefing area, but you will use range eye protection while shooting.
Yes. Instructors routinely coach first-time shooters through safe handling, loading under supervision, and controlled firing. The briefing is mandatory for everyone regardless of experience.
If you have shot before, tell your instructor so they can focus on refinement rather than basics. Packages with more guns simply give you more models to try, not a higher skill requirement.
This listing is for the outdoor countryside range reached by bus from Prague, which is the main experience described in your package. Weather can affect comfort but sessions usually run in normal seasonal conditions.
We also operate an indoor range in Prague 2 for walk-in customers on a different basis. If you specifically want indoor only, message us before booking so we can advise on the right product.
You can usually take photos during safe moments when the instructor allows it, such as beside the lane with unloaded weapons or during breaks away from active firing. Never photograph anyone while they are shooting without their consent.
Follow your instructor's instructions at all times. Some weapons or areas may be off limits for cameras, and flash or loose equipment can be a safety risk on the line.
