We are situated on the Southern shore of Grafham Water in a small village called Perry in West Cambridgeshire. There is easy access to us from the surrounding area through the A1 and the A14.
We usually run our youth sessions for those aged between 8 and 15 years old. Those aged 16+ would generally join RYA adult sessions.
The course runs for two consecutive days, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM each day, providing approximately 16 hours of instruction and practice.
No, there are no prerequisites for this course. It is designed for complete beginners who have no prior sailing experience.
Yes, upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate recognising their ability to sail across the wind, steer, and understand the basic principles of sailing.
Safety is our top priority. If weather conditions are deemed unsuitable for sailing, we will reschedule the session to a later date or provide alternative arrangements. We aim to ensure that all participants have a safe and productive experience.
