This course is the perfect introduction to windsurfing for young people aged 8-15. No prior experience is needed, making it ideal for beginners. Our friendly and experienced instructors will teach you the basics of getting on the water and sailing the board across the wind and back, all in a fun and supportive environment.

Key Skills

During this course, you will learn to:

• Get on the water safely
• Balance and stand up on the board
• Sail the board across the wind and back
• Understand basic windsurfing techniques and safety procedures

Course Breakdown

• Day One: Introduction to windsurfing, safety briefing, and initial practice on the water.
• Day Two: Continued practice with a focus on improving balance and control, sailing back and forth across the wind.

The entire course is practical and fun-focused, with minimal theory.

The RYA Windsurf Youth Stage 1 course is held at at our centre in Perry, Cambridgeshire.  It is a beautiful location offering excellent conditions for learning windsurfing. Our centre provides a safe and controlled environment for young learners to gain confidence and skills on the water.
