This includes improved boat handling, mastering sailing in various directions in different conditions, and understanding how to sail independently without an instructor on board. The course also deepens your theoretical knowledge of sailing, equipping you to make informed decisions on the water.
The RYA Level 2 course is practical and hands-on, with an emphasis on consolidating and building upon the skills learned in Level 1. You'll spend most of the time on the water, practicing and refining your sailing techniques under the guidance of our experienced instructors. The course covers a range of conditions, preparing you to handle a small dinghy confidently in light to moderate winds.

In the RYA Sailing Level 2 course, you will enhance your boat handling skills for sailing in various directions, including upwind and downwind, in light to moderate wind conditions. You'll learn to rig the boat more efficiently, refine your techniques for launching and recovering, and improve your ability to control sail settings. The course also focuses on safety procedures, sailing theory, and making independent decisions while sailing.

Yes, we cater for all types of food allergies and religious food requirements. We ask that you inform our reception team at least 2 weeks prior to your visit to allow our catering team to source the necessary ingredients and produce a suitable menu.
Accommodation is not included in this course. However, it can be arranged upon request and subject to availablity. The majority of our bedrooms sleep between 3 to 4 in bunk beds in each room. Sheets, duvets and pillows are provided. All rooms are en-suite.
