Our RYA Powerboat Level 2 course is conducted in our comfortable XS650 Rib, ‘Raptor’. Over two days, you will receive both practical and theoretical instruction designed to enhance your powerboating abilities. You’ll practice manoeuvring, safety procedures, and gain confidence in handling a powerboat under various conditions.
We generally run our sessions on Saturdays and Sundays, beginning at 9am each day.
For those interested, we offer bespoke mid-week courses for £1,400. Please enquire for more details. Please note that a minimum of 2 out of 3 available slots need to be booked for the course to be viable.

You will require roughly 16 hours of tuition, so both days will be near enough to 8 hours long, starting at 9am.
We aim to teach as much as possible outside of the classroom. Depending on the weather, we will be out for most of the course. Dress appropriately!
When you pass your course, you are enabled to apply for your ICC through the RYA. If you attend & pass a course, you will be informed on how to do so on the final day.
We have a strict limit of 3 students per course.
If you do not complete the course then it will not ever be a fail. Provided you have completed the full 16 hours, we will provide an action plan.
You can come in another time to for further practise. One of our highly experienced instructors will make it clear as to what is left to be completed!
The first hour will be free. If you need more than 1 hour extra tuition, then it will be a reduced cost of £40 per hour thereafter.
Please note, this is not a common thing, with most of our students passing at the end of the two-day course.
Our high-quality Spinlock lifejackets and Helly Hansen waterproofs will be provided for free!
Lunch is not provided we are afraid. If you do have a packed lunch, we will have a microwave to heat up your food and a fridge. Alternatively, there is an abundance of shops nearby to grab a local bite.
Yes. If you would like to spend a couple of hours all the way up to a full day to try it out before you partake in the full course, then we can provide that. Please contact us to discuss.
At this current time, we do not provide charters of our RIBs. We do however provide Extra Tuition. One of our instructors has to be in the boat at all times during operation. Please get in touch for more information.
We do not have parking available unless you are a blue badge holder. If you are, please contact us when you book, so we can arrange parking for you!

Yes there is. We usually fill our spaces up, but sometimes they simply do not sell. If that is the case, in the event of that happening we will contact to arrange a reschedule or refund.
