Private wakeboard cable hire is available for individuals, families, and small groups. It’s suitable for all abilities, from beginners to advanced riders. The minimum age is 8, and participants must be water confident and able to swim.
For a 30-minute session, we recommend a maximum of 3 riders. For a 1-hour session, up to 5 riders can share the time. This ensures that everyone gets a good amount of time on the water and personalised instruction.
The session is tailored to your group’s ability level. Beginners will learn dock starts, riding in a straight line, and water starts. Intermediate riders can practise cornering and surface tricks, while advanced riders can work on obstacle riding and air tricks.
We provide all the necessary wakeboarding equipment, including a wakeboard, wetsuit, helmet, impact vest, and buoyancy aid. You only need to bring your own swimwear to wear under the wetsuit and a towel for after your session.
Yes, children aged 8 and up can join. Please ensure they meet the minimum requirement of being water confident and able to swim. All equipment, including appropriately sized boards and safety gear, will be provided.
We operate in most weather conditions, including light rain. However, if there are strong winds or lightning storms, we may cancel the session for safety reasons. If your session is cancelled, we will reschedule it at no extra cost.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own equipment if you prefer. However, all necessary gear (board, wetsuit, helmet, impact vest, etc.) is included in the session price, so there’s no need to bring anything unless you want to.
We offer full on-site facilities, including changing rooms, hot showers, and lockers for storing valuables. There’s also a café on-site where you can grab a snack or drink after your session. We also have disabled access.
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your session to check in, get changed, and ensure everything is set up for a smooth start on the water. Also, make sure to complete our online disclaimer (Hove Lagoon Disclaimer) before arrival.
