Only your group boards the sleigh after changing into warm winter clothing at our safari house near Pisavaara Nature Reserve. We'll have collected you from your accommodation in Rovaniemi and driven you to the base first, then your guide pulls you by snowmobile along snowy forest trails toward Santa's hidden cabin.
Santa greets you inside the log cabin, where you'll have time to chat, take photos and enjoy warm glögi and Finnish treats. Because the sleigh is private, you won't share the ride or cabin visit with other guests. After your visit, you'll ride back through the forest, return your gear and we'll transfer you back to Rovaniemi.
Santa's cabin sits deep in woodland north of Rovaniemi, reached from our base beside Pisavaara Nature Reserve. The setting feels secluded compared with busier Santa experiences closer to the city.
The drive from town passes through typical Lapland scenery, and hotel pickup and drop-off in Rovaniemi is included. Once you leave the main roads the forest trails feel properly away from the crowds, which is part of what makes the cabin visit feel special.
No licence is required because you ride as a passenger in the sleigh. Children from age three can join with an adult, and the seated format suits younger guests who might find snowmobile driving too much.
