Course Description

What Is Dry Suit Diving?

Dry suit diving involves wearing a dry suit that seals the diver off from the surrounding water, providing increased thermal protection. Unlike wet suits, which allow a thin layer of water to contact the skin, dry suits remain entirely sealed, keeping the diver dry and warm even in cold water conditions. This type of diving enables exploration in cooler regions and extends the diving season, allowing divers to enjoy underwater adventures all year round.

Prerequisites

If you are at least 10 years old and hold a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver certification or higher, you are eligible to join our exciting Dry Suit Diver course.

In order to dive, you must fill the Diver Medical Form. You may require a physicians approval to dive. If you have any questions then please let us know!

You will also have to sign our Diver Liability Release Form and Safe Diving Practices form.

Equipment

A dry suit is a must, along with your standard scuba gear. Our experienced PADI Instructor will guide you through additional equipment options you may need for a comfortable and controlled dive.

This course trains you to dive using a dry suit, allowing for more comfortable diving in cooler waters and extending your diving season.

Anyone aged 10 or older and certified as a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or higher can enroll in the course.

The course price includes instruction and guidance but excludes the rental of a dry suit and other scuba equipment.

You'll need a dry suit and potentially a different weight system setup. Your instructor will guide you through the equipment options.

Dry suit diving is particularly beneficial in cooler regions and during colder months, but the skills you learn can be applied to various diving conditions.
