Begin your underwater adventure without committing to a full certification. This introductory experience allows participants to safely explore scuba diving in a controlled, purpose-built pool environment. Designed for complete beginners, the program offers hands-on guidance from certified PADI instructors, providing a fun and educational introduction to the marine world.
Participants begin with a short briefing where instructors introduce essential safety procedures, explain the gear, and demonstrate basic underwater techniques. This ensures everyone feels comfortable before entering the water.
Hands-on pool time allows learners to practise breathing underwater, adjust buoyancy, and gain confidence using the provided equipment. Instructors guide each participant individually, reinforcing safe practices and building comfort in the water.
The session concludes with a recap of skills learned and guidance on further PADI courses for those interested in continuing their scuba journey. While this experience does not provide certification, it offers a complete insight into scuba diving for beginners.
The course takes place at Littlehampton Marina, featuring a purpose-built heated pool ideal for safe, controlled learning. The facility is equipped with all necessary scuba gear, changing rooms, and safety equipment to ensure a secure environment for new divers.
Nearby, the coastal setting provides inspiration for future dives, offering participants the chance to see where their scuba journey could lead. Families can enjoy easy access to amenities while participants focus on learning and enjoying the experience.
Participants must be at least 10 years old and comfortable in water. No previous diving experience is required, making this experience accessible to complete beginners.
A medical questionnaire must be completed by participants or guardians to confirm suitability for diving. Any health concerns should be discussed in advance with instructors to ensure safety throughout the session.
Certified PADI instructors provide personal guidance, ensuring each participant gains confidence and skill in a fun, safe environment. Their experience allows them to adapt teaching to individual needs, providing a memorable introduction to scuba diving.
Small group sizes, high-quality equipment, and a dedicated pool space ensure that beginners receive hands-on support. The centre fosters a welcoming atmosphere for learners of all ages and encourages participants to explore scuba diving further at their own pace.
