The 6-week NICAS Wild Climbers Course is designed for young climbers, aged 3 and up, to introduce them to indoor climbing in a fun, supportive, and engaging way. The course provides a structured, game-based programme aimed at building climbing skills and confidence, while also paving the way for future climbing activities.
Each session of the 6-week course is designed to help young climbers gradually develop their skills in a safe and fun environment. The course uses games and interactive activities to teach core climbing movements, build confidence, and improve balance.
Over the six weeks, participants will become familiar with the climbing wall, learn how to safely navigate it, and understand the fundamentals of climbing technique. By the end of the course, climbers will be ready to progress to further climbing challenges or other NICAS programmes.
