Warm jacket and trousers, soft-soled shoes (trainers are ideal), sun hat, sun protection, water bottle and snacks. A changing robe if you plan to swim. Layers work best on the water because evenings and breezes can feel cooler than the forecast on shore, even on sunny days in Plymouth.
Spinlock lifejackets are provided for all guests. A little cash for refreshments during stops ashore is useful when conditions allow. Soft-soled shoes help on the pontoon and deck; avoid hard heels or open sandals that could slip on wet surfaces.

You can watch the series on Channel 4's online catalogue. Conrad Humphreys skippered the Mutiny voyage and leads these sails on Bounty. The open launch was built for authenticity, so expect an intimate, hands-on feel rather than a large passenger ferry.
