About the centre
North Malé Atoll
Operated by Sea to Sky, a partner of adventuro.

Spend a week exploring the central atolls of the Maldives with three dives a day, a night dive, and access to world-class sites known for manta rays, whale sharks, grey reef sharks, and vibrant thilas.
Daily activities above the water include trips to sandbanks, local islands, desert islands and a beach BBQ, plus optional marine biology lessons and relaxed evening gatherings.
A dedicated dive dhoni, experienced guides and small dive groups ensure safe, structured and rewarding diving throughout the expedition.
This itinerary follows a central-atolls route starting in North Malé before moving through South Malé, Vaavu (Felidhoo) and the full stretch of Ari Atoll. Divers visit well-known channels, thilas, cleaning stations and shark aggregation points, with manta rays and whale sharks commonly encountered across Ari. The trip finishes with two final dives near Malé before disembarkation.
This itinerary gives divers structured access to the central atolls, supported by skilled guides who monitor currents, visibility and changing conditions carefully. With at least four guides onboard and a typical ratio of six divers per guide, underwater experiences remain controlled and safe, even when conditions become more demanding. Daily briefings outline expected currents, drop points and recommended gas planning, which benefits divers at all experience levels.
Life onboard is designed around comfort between dives. The galley team prepares balanced meals that fuel multiple immersions each day. A mix of educational sessions, cultural visits and relaxed evening activities helps make the week varied for those seeking more than diving alone. Operational standards prioritise safety, environmental awareness and respect for marine habitats, ensuring a reliable experience for returning and progressing divers.
The trip begins and ends in Malé, with airport transfers included on the scheduled dates. Check-in normally starts around 10:30–11:00, with the dive team completing paperwork and medical declarations before cabins are assigned. Guests should ensure passports are valid for at least one month beyond arrival and should complete the required online traveller declaration within 96 hours of both arrival and departure flights.
For departure, the boat returns early to Malé and guests disembark between 07:00–07:30. Those catching flights later in the day will be transferred to the airport, and those continuing their holiday elsewhere should organise onward transfers independently as direct resort transfers are not provided.

Cabins are en-suite and air-conditioned, with housekeeping and towel changes during the week. Bed linens and both beach and bathroom towels are supplied, with additional towel changes available on request. Communal spaces include shaded seating areas, an open sundeck and dedicated areas for briefings, dining and relaxation.
Meals are served buffet-style with a wide daily selection. Breakfast typically includes eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit, yoghurt, baked goods and hot drinks. Lunch and dinner offer varied hot dishes aimed at maintaining energy levels through multiple daily dives. Dietary requirements can be accommodated when provided in advance.
