Maldives

Equatorial maritime climate: steady 28 °C air and 27 °C water, two monsoon seasons governing wind direction. Low-lying coral atolls, deep-blue channels and reef passes. Outdoor focus is almost exclusively aquatic: drift and shark diving, beginner to expert kitesurfing (May–Oct south-west monsoon), SUP and sea-kayak lagoon tours, luxury live-aboard surf trips (male and central atolls) and occasional night-fishing.
