Spend 12 nights diving two of the Philippines’ best-known regions in one trip: the shark-rich offshore sites of Malapascua and the reef and sardine action of Moalboal. You’ll start with dawn dives at Kimud Shoal and Monad Shoal looking for thresher sharks, tiger sharks and other pelagic visitors, before moving on to walls, reefs and the famous sardine bait ball off the Cebu coastline.
Accommodation at both bases is comfortable and set up for divers, with short walks to the dive centres, on-site kit storage and easy access to boats and house reefs. Transfers between Cebu, the first island base and the second coastal resort are arranged for you, so once you reach Cebu the schedule is handled end to end. This format suits divers who want a lot of time in the water, variation in sites and the chance to see both big animals and macro life in one itinerary.
This 12-night Philippines dive holiday starts and ends in Cebu and combines two complementary bases: an offshore island focused on dawn thresher shark dives, tiger shark and pelagic encounters plus rich macro, followed by a coastal resort in Moalboal with walls, a permanent sardine bait ball, turtles and a deep house reef. You’ll spend six nights at each resort with five dive days in each location (20 scheduled dives), plus a Gato Island day trip and the option to add extra boat or house reef dives. All transfers between Cebu, the first resort and the second resort are arranged for you, so once you land in Cebu the diving, accommodation and logistics are handled end to end.
This itinerary has been built by divers who have spent significant time in the Philippines and understand how to link regions efficiently while keeping the focus on what matters most: high-quality, safe diving. The two-resort format is not simply about adding nights, but about combining two complementary locations into one coherent plan, with all key transfers and timings looked after on your behalf. You receive clear information in advance, structured support on the ground and a schedule designed around realistic travel and dive planning.
Both bases are long-established, diver-focused operations that have been chosen specifically for their approach to safety, environmental awareness and guest support. The organising team prioritise honest advice about conditions, dive profiles and local requirements, so you know what to expect before you book. The goal is to give you access to thresher sharks, pelagics, macro, sardines and rich reef life in one extended trip, with reliable logistics and a supportive community of fellow divers around you.
All guests fly into Mactan Cebu International Airport. From there, transfers are arranged to the first overnight stay in Cebu and onward to the island base the following morning. The journey north to the departure port takes around three hours by road, followed by a 45-minute boat ride to the island.
At the midway point of the trip, overland transfers connect the first base back to Cebu and then continue south-west to the Moalboal peninsula. At the end of the trip, transfers return you to Cebu for your international flight. Once you arrive in Cebu, the internal logistics are handled for you according to the outlined schedule.
