Make the most of your day by immersing yourself in this comprehensive Intro to Kitesurfing Day. This is a great opportunity to learn an exhilarating new sport. This 5-hour session is limited to four people, meaning you will get plenty of 1-1 support from your instructor.
The day starts with a trainer kite session. During this period, you'll learn the fundamentals of kite control and movement. You will start with smaller, simpler kites which are easier to manage, allowing you to understand the basics of kite flying while also building confidence.
Next, the course transitions into the experience of harnessing the power of the kite. This component focuses on power control and how to harness and manage the force generated by the kite. It’s an exciting step where you start feeling the strength and the potential of the wind power.
Then, you will be introduced to the LEI (Leading Edge Inflatable) Kite. These are the types of kites most commonly used in kitesurfing. You will learn about the construction, setup, and safety measures of these specialized kites. You'll become familiar with inflating the kite, setting up the lines, launching, and controlling the kite in the air.
Your first step to learning to kitesurf will be all about kitesurfing basics and theory and learning how to fly both the trainer and the 4-line kite. This land-based session aims to set up, start and land the kite safely, have complete control of the kite during flight, and learn about safety systems and rescue techniques.

For the second step, we will be getting our wetsuits on and getting into the sea to refine our kite skills and start using the kite to pull us through the water.

Having wakeboarding and other windsports experience can speed up learning time.

Kitesurfing is hard and dangerous if you dont have lessons. The learning curve is exponential. The more lessons you get in, the easier it will be. After 3 kitesurfing lessons you will master the basics.
You don't need to be strong or even that fit. All the force comes though your wasit harness. You can control the kite with the tips of your fingers.
The lessons are on if the wind is between 8 and 25 knots.
If the weather is not good for lessons, you can choose another date for your kitesurfing lesson.
You can book as it suits you. We are open 7 days a week when there is wind.
We recommend to finish all your classes within 2 months.
Some people on a short schedule or traveling far can book two lessons a day with a lesson gap in between to rest.
