All centres are vetted for safety and quality. Your adventure is in good hands with adventuro.

Take experienced young climbers on single-day Yorkshire crag visits or multi-day residential trips that broaden styles and venues each year. Trips focus on lots of climbing, skills practice and safe adventure with staff ratios around one instructor to four young people on residentials.
Your trip leader opens with a friendly welcome, gear check, and route briefing, then coaches structured climbing sessions with ample time to climb, belay, and tackle varied rock features. We focus on maximising time on the rock, testing different climbing styles, and learning crag etiquette in memorable outdoor locations.
The tempo of the trip flexes with local weather, group stamina, and individual goals, while safety protocols remain rigorous from the first climb of the morning to the evening pack-down. Between routes, youngsters learn how to read guidebooks, assess crag hazards, and support their climbing partners.
Single-day trips explore premier crags across North and West Yorkshire, while our residential programmes travel further afield to classic destinations such as Portland, the Peak District, or North Wales. Each destination is chosen for its concentration of quality routes and inspiring scenery.
Residential trips use comfortable, accredited bunkhouses, camping barns, or YHA hostels, with all meals and transport logistics coordinated by our experienced team. We provide full joining instructions, meeting point coordinates, and packing guides prior to departure.
Multi-day residentials require a minimum age of 10; participants should already know how to fit a harness, tie a figure-of-eight knot, and belay competently. Single day trips are open to club members or young climbers with regular wall experience.
Please inform us of any medical needs, dietary restrictions, or anxiety about heights when booking. We ensure appropriate support and accommodations so every young person has a safe and rewarding experience.
Instructors bring extensive experience across NICAS coaching, Mountain Training wall awards, and years of traditional climbing on UK crags. Youth trips feel exciting and adventurous while maintaining meticulous safeguarding, rope safety, and camp management.
Low instructor-to-climber ratios (1:4 on residentials) ensure personalised coaching, close supervision, and rapid skill progression. We create a tight-knit, supportive team culture where young climbers forge lasting friendships.
Meet at Heber Drive, 17 Heber Drive, East Marton, Skipton BD23 3HA. Allow extra time for moorland or crag approaches from the car park.
We send final directions, parking details and arrival time before your session.
Experienced young climbers aged 8 to 17 who already belay and tie in confidently and want more mileage on Yorkshire crags or residential adventures further afield.
Day trips suit club members or regular wall climbers. Multi-day residentials need a minimum age of 10 and stronger independence around kit and camp routines.
Day fees cover qualified instruction, group climbing hardware and safety briefings on Yorkshire crags. Residential fees include instruction, accommodation, meals and transport between venues as stated for that trip.
Personal clothing, travel to the meeting point and optional extras outside the published trip plan are not included.
Day trips meet at agreed Yorkshire car parks once your date is confirmed. Residential trips publish a full joining pack with bunkhouse or hostel details, kit list and meet times.
Allow time for crag approaches and parental pick-up at the published finish time, which can shift slightly with weather and traffic.
Day trips need outdoor clothing, lunch, water and personal climbing shoes if owned. Residential trips add sleeping bag, wash kit and a full kit list sent before departure.
Label harness bags and helmets if your child brings personal kit. Medication must be handed to trip leaders with clear written instructions.
Children should fit their own harness, tie a figure-of-eight and belay under supervision before joining. Day trips are not beginner tasters.
Tell us recent indoor grades and outdoor experience when booking so leaders pitch venues and route choice correctly.
Select the day or residential option, request dates and complete parent consent through Adventuro. We confirm your place, payment schedule and any balance due for residentials once ratios are secure.
Medical and dietary forms are required before multi-day trips depart so leaders can plan meals, allergies and emergency care without last-minute surprises at the meet point.
Residentials target around one instructor to four young climbers on roped activity. Day groups stay small enough for close belay supervision on real rock.
Leaders hold enhanced DBS checks and outdoor first aid qualifications appropriate to remote venues.
Leaders may switch crags or shorten exposed pitches if wind, rain or cold increases risk. Residential programmes have indoor contingency plans at accommodation where needed.
If we cancel a trip for safety, we offer reschedule or refund under the terms on this page.
Day trips welcome climbers from 8 within the 8 to 17 programme range. Residential trips require participants to be at least 10 on departure day.
Contact us if an experienced 9-year-old club member wants a specific day trip so we can advise on suitability.
Day trip cancellations follow the UK tiers on this page. Residential trips may use a separate deposit schedule explained at booking because of accommodation commitments.
Contact us early if plans change so we can adjust numbers with hostels and transport providers.
