Take to the sky and experience a unique combination of calm flight and adrenaline-fuelled free-fall over one of Bulgaria’s most iconic natural landmarks. This private experience offers breathtaking aerial views, a 50-metre bungee jump, and the chance to see the Belogradchik Rocks from a perspective few ever get.
Your adventure begins with a briefing from your professional guide, covering safety instructions and jump procedures. You’ll ascend in the hot air balloon, floating above the Belogradchik Rocks, a 30 km long and 6–7 km wide rock formation sculpted by nature over millions of years. The reddish tinge of the rocks, caused by iron oxide, creates a striking contrast with the surrounding landscape, making the views remarkable even before the jump.
Once you reach the jump point, you’ll be securely fitted with a professional bungee harness. Each jump is guided step by step, with instructors ensuring correct attachment, posture, and readiness. The jump itself offers a thrilling free-fall while remaining completely safe thanks to the specialised equipment and trained staff. After landing, you’ll have time to enjoy the aerial views, take photos, and celebrate the adrenaline rush with your group.
Weather and conditions may require moving the jump to alternate locations such as Pravets or Botevgrad, chosen to provide safety while still offering the thrill and scenery of a unique aerial experience. Every step prioritises participant safety without reducing the excitement of the flight and jump.
The primary location is the Belogradchik Rocks, a geological phenomenon in northwestern Bulgaria stretching 30 km in length and up to 7 km in width. The area is known for its reddish, sculpted rock formations rising over 100 metres high, providing a dramatic backdrop for both balloon flight and bungee jumping.
The surrounding area is quiet, offering an off-the-beaten-track setting ideal for adventure seekers. If needed, jumps can be conducted in nearby locations like Pravets or Botevgrad, which provide safe and convenient alternatives while still maintaining the thrill and panoramic views of the Bulgarian landscape.
Participants must be comfortable with heights and following safety instructions from trained guides. Physical ability to jump and land safely is required, and participants should feel confident in outdoor and aerial settings.
Appropriate clothing for weather conditions is essential, including layers and footwear suitable for standing and moving in the balloon basket. Guests should also consider eye protection like sunglasses or goggles to prevent glare from the sun on rock surfaces or snow, if present.
The focus is on delivering unique and authentic adventure experiences that showcase Bulgaria’s natural beauty from a different perspective. Routes and locations are selected to give participants maximum thrill while maintaining safety and personal attention.
Professional local guides ensure every step is handled with care, from briefing to jump to post-flight debrief. The experience combines adventure, natural wonder, and education about the region’s geological history, creating a memorable experience that is both exciting and safe.
The jump height is approximately 50 metres from the balloon basket, which provides a full free-fall experience without compromising safety. Participants are securely harnessed with professional bungee cords tested for each jump.
This height offers a perfect balance of thrill and manageability, allowing the sensation of weightlessness while your instructors monitor every detail. Photographers and e-guides ensure memorable moments are captured after the jump, adding to the unique aerial experience.
No prior experience is required. Each participant receives a full safety briefing and personalised guidance for both the flight and the jump. Guides ensure participants understand the procedures and feel confident before stepping off the basket.
Even those new to aerial activities can safely enjoy the ride and jump, as the equipment and team are designed to manage all skill levels while delivering a thrilling experience.
Yes, children from age 10 can participate, provided they meet the physical requirements for bungee jumping and follow all instructions. Guides provide additional support and attention for younger participants to ensure safety.
The jump is adapted to accommodate different sizes and abilities within the group, making it a family-friendly adventure for those with the required age and confidence.
Layered clothing is recommended to accommodate changing temperatures during the flight and jump. Comfortable, secure shoes are necessary for stability in the balloon basket.
Sunglasses or goggles are advised to reduce glare from the sun on the rocks, especially during early morning or afternoon flights. Loose items should be secured or left behind to prevent interference with the harness.
The activity lasts around 30 minutes, including ascent, jump, and landing procedures. Preparation and safety briefings are incorporated to ensure participants are ready and confident.
This duration allows a complete experience without feeling rushed, balancing the thrill of free-fall with the calm of aerial observation and the chance to enjoy the landscape.
