Hit the trails for a full day of guided motorbike riding through the scenic Surrey Hills. This ride to Hindhead is designed for intermediate and experienced riders who want to cover varied terrain, gain more confidence off-road, and enjoy a well-organised day on two wheels. All equipment is included, and you’ll be led by instructors who live and breathe trail riding.
Your day begins at the centre with refreshments and a warm welcome from your instructors. After allocating kit and running through a detailed safety briefing, you’ll be introduced to the techniques you’ll need for the day. You’ll then head out onto the trails without delay, taking on a well-planned 80-mile route that weaves its way through a mix of tracks, gravel paths, country lanes and green roads toward Hindhead. The terrain is varied, with some gentle technical challenges to keep things exciting without being overwhelming. Throughout the day, instructors will provide tips and support to help you feel confident, whether you’re navigating woodland paths, shallow water crossings or loose sections.
Lunch is a proper stop – a good pub meal in a local spot before you get back on the bikes for the return leg. The second part of the day typically features different tracks with more mud, sand or water, depending on conditions, offering new riding experiences and keeping things fresh. Your bike – a nimble 250cc enduro – is built for this sort of terrain, and your guides will always tailor the ride to suit the group’s confidence and preferences. You’ll finish up with a quick debrief, chance to clean up, and a final cuppa before heading off.
Based in Surrey, just outside Dorking, the session takes you deep into the countryside with quick access to the network of green roads leading to Hindhead and beyond. You’ll be riding through the heart of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with trails that include woodland singletrack, sandy lanes, chalky climbs and flowing bridleways. The route covers around 80 miles in total, offering a real mix of terrain with hardly any time spent on busy roads.
This area is one of the most popular for trail riding in the South East thanks to the variety of routes and the accessibility from London and surrounding areas. Public rights of way used are legal for motorcycles and carefully chosen to maximise enjoyment while keeping the experience safe and respectful for other users. Your guides know the area well and will adapt the day depending on weather, rider confidence and ground conditions.
Participants must be aged 25 or over and hold a valid full motorcycle licence. Although solo bookings are welcome, a minimum of three people is required for the session to run. If you book alone, you’ll be contacted once minimum numbers have been met so you can start planning your travel. This session is designed for those who are comfortable riding a motorcycle and looking to improve or maintain their off-road skills. No off-road experience is necessary, but previous road riding confidence is essential.
All safety kit, bikes, and refreshments are provided – you just need to show up with your licence and a willingness to ride. Everything else is taken care of, making this an easy and low-stress way to try trail riding or get out for a day of proper riding without the faff.
This trail riding experience is run by instructors who live and breathe motorcycling, with decades of combined road and off-road riding experience. Their love for riding didn’t stop at the tarmac – after countless hours of road instruction each week, they took to the trails to rekindle their passion for bikes. What started as personal rides to Morocco and monthly UK adventures quickly evolved into guiding others on the same kind of days they looked forward to themselves.
Sessions are designed to be practical, enjoyable and rider-focused. The team knows what makes a day on the bike great – a relaxed start, proper kit, excellent local trails, solid lunch stops and expert but friendly instruction. They ride the routes themselves regularly, keep the bikes in top condition and are quick to adapt the day to fit the riders, terrain or weather. It's all about giving people a proper, hassle-free experience that’s about the riding, not ticking boxes.
