You fly a short helicopter loop over Dubai of about 12, 17 or 22 minutes, depending on the length you choose. The crew briefs you at the pad, you strap in with a headset, and the route looks out over the skyline, the Palm and the coast.
At the pad the crew will take names and weights, assign seats so the aircraft stays balanced, and walk you through the brief before anyone walks toward the rotor. You'll hear how the harness works and what to expect once the blades are turning, and the flight itself follows a set circuit over the coast and the city landmarks you booked for.
Once you're airborne you'll have a few minutes of views toward the Palm, the marina towers and the open Gulf, with the pilot calling landmarks when it is safe to talk on the headset. When the loop ends you'll land back at the same pad.
Your flight leaves from a Dubai helipad on the coast or near the city fringe, with circuits over the Palm, the marina towers and the open Gulf. You are airborne over water and sand, not inland desert, and the exact pad depends on the departure you were given and the morning's traffic flow.
You'll meet at the airfield or helipad we send you. We'll confirm meeting or pickup details before your day. We send the address or pickup window beforehand. Do not travel to the Sharjah office, and allow time for the security brief before anyone walks toward the aircraft.
You'll need to be at least three years old. Children sit with an adult. No flying experience is required. Follow the brief and stay seated until the crew says you may stand.
Boarding is a short step up to the skids, not a walk-on jet bridge. Follow the brief and stay seated until the crew says you may stand.
Helicopter sightseeing over Dubai is a short but memorable loop, and we coordinate pad access, seat weights, and hotel collection when your booking includes hotel collection. Rotations stay small so the brief happens properly before anyone walks to the aircraft.
You'll know whether you start at the hotel or the helipad before travel day, and we stay in touch if wind or air traffic delays the flight. The morning is about the views over the Palm and the coastline, with ground time kept tight and predictable.
Please meet us at the Dubai helipad unless your booking includes hotel collection. The pad address is sent to you beforehand. If hotel collection is included in your booking, please wait in your hotel lobby at the time we send you. Do not travel to the Sharjah office.
You'll meet at the Dubai helipad unless your booking includes hotel collection. The exact pad and the lobby time are sent to you beforehand, because the departure depends on the flight length you chose.
Please arrive with time for the safety brief and a bag check. Late arrival can mean you miss that rotation, as helicopters do not wait on the ground once the crew are ready to leave.
Three flight lengths are offered: about 12 minutes, 17 minutes, and 22 minutes. Each length also has a version with hotel transfers. We tell you beforehand which one you have.
The 12-minute flight is the city loop. The 17-minute flight adds more time over the Palm. The 22-minute flight is the longest look at the coastline and the older districts.
You'll need to be at least three years old. Children sit with an adult and follow the same brief as the rest of the cabin.
Please tell us the ages and any height or seating needs when you confirm. The crew assigns seats so the aircraft stays balanced, so you cannot always choose the window you want.
The cabin holds up to five guests plus the crew. You share the aircraft with your own party first. Larger groups may be split across more than one flight if the weight sheet requires it.
Solo guests still get a seat on the next available rotation. You are not asked to fill the cabin yourself.
Hotel transfer may be available as an add-on at checkout. We'll send your start time and whether collection is included before your day.
If you're making your own way, come to the meeting point we send you. Public transport and taxis serve the area.
Flights need clear enough weather to take off. Low cloud, strong wind, or poor visibility can delay or stop a rotation.
If the crew cannot fly, we will contact you with the next step. That decision sits with the pilot on the day.
We recommend wearing closed shoes and clothes you can sit in comfortably with a headset on. Bring sunglasses and a camera with the strap secured.
We'd suggest leaving loose hats and large bags in the transfer vehicle or at the pad, as they cannot fly in the cabin. Follow the crew's brief on phones during take-off and landing.
No flying experience is required. You sit as a passenger while the crew flies the route. You will be briefed on the harness, the headset, and how to sit during take-off.
Tell the crew if you get airsick. They can seat you where the ride is steadier, but they cannot change the air once you are airborne.
The route is a sightseeing loop over Dubai. Depending on the length you chose, you can expect views towards Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab, Atlantis, The World islands, and older Dubai.
The exact line depends on air traffic. The pilot will point out landmarks on the headset when it is safe to talk.
Tell the crew at the brief. They can seat you where the ride is steadier and talk you through where to look during take-off.
Once you are airborne the crew cannot change the air, so it is better to say something on the ground than wait until you are over the Palm.
