At the Palm drop zone you check in, complete the forms and weigh-in, then jump in tandem with an instructor. Freefall lasts about 60 seconds, the canopy opens around 6,000 feet for a four to five minute ride, and a camera flyer films the jump.
When you arrive at the drop zone you'll check in at the desk, complete registration and the waiver, and then the team will weigh you and confirm your slot before the brief begins. You'll kit up with your tandem instructor, hear how the aircraft load works, and wait until weather and traffic clear like any aviation day.
You'll board the plane for the climb to altitude, exit on the harness with your instructor, and land back at the same zone with time to collect photos and certificates if you ordered them. Palm and desert zones are the product you booked, and we'll update you directly if a weather hold delays the jump.
Your tandem skydive uses the Palm drop zone or the desert zone above Dubai, with views of the coast, the islands and the city on the way down under a tandem instructor. Check-in, kit-up and the aircraft load happen at the drop zone base, not at a hotel lobby, unless your day includes a transfer.
We send the drop zone address or hotel pickup time beforehand. Bring photo ID and closed shoes. Allow more than the freefall clock for briefing, weather holds and the ride to altitude; the outing is a half-day commitment even when the jump itself is short.
You'll need to be at least 18 and able to show a passport. No skydiving experience is required. You must complete the waiver and pass the weigh-in and BMI check at the desk.
You must be at least 18 for a tandem jump, or 12 to 17 with a parent or guardian on site. Bring photo ID and closed shoes to the drop zone.
Tandem skydiving is a half-day at the drop zone with registration, kit-up, aircraft load, and freefall with your instructor. Palm and desert zones and hotel transfer or self-drive start are confirmed when you book so check-in matches your day.
We stay in touch on weather holds because aviation rules govern the jump, not a fixed clock on the ground. After you land there is time to debrief with your instructor before you leave the zone.
Please meet us at the Palm drop zone unless your booking includes hotel collection. Arrive at the check-in time we send you, with your passport. If hotel collection is included in your booking, please wait in your hotel lobby at the time we send you. Do not travel to the Sharjah office.
You'll meet at the Palm drop zone unless your booking includes hotel collection. Arrive at the check-in time we send you, not a vague morning window, because the plane leaves on a set rotation.
Please bring your passport. The desk will not process you without it. If hotel collection is included in your booking, please wait in your hotel lobby at the time we send you.
Hotel transfer may be available as an add-on at checkout. We'll send your start time and whether collection is included before your day.
If you're making your own way, come to the meeting point we send you. Public transport and taxis serve the area.
Time at the drop zone is about three hours. That covers registration, the weigh-in, the brief, the flight, and the walk back from the landing area.
Freefall is about 60 seconds. The parachute opens around 6,000 feet, then you have about four to five minutes under the canopy before you land.
You need to be at least 18 years old. Bring a passport that matches the name we have for you, because the desk will not process you without it.
Adults of any age still need to pass the weigh-in and BMI check at the desk. Fitness matters more than the number on a birthday, and the drop zone makes that call before anyone boards.
On arrival you fill registration and waiver forms, then you are weighed and your BMI is calculated. About 20 to 30 minutes before boarding you meet your tandem instructor for the safety brief, body position, and harness check.
If the desk will not clear you on weight or the forms, you do not board. We cannot override the drop zone on the day.
No skydiving experience is required. You jump in tandem, clipped to an instructor who flies the canopy. A camera flyer exits with you to film the jump.
Please follow the brief on how to hold your body in freefall. The instructor handles the deployment and the landing.
Jumps need clear enough weather to take off and to land. Strong wind, low cloud, or poor visibility can delay or stop a rotation.
If the drop zone cannot fly, we will contact you with the next step. That decision sits with the crew on the day.
Wear trainers and clothes you can strap a harness over. Avoid skirts and anything that can fly off in freefall. Bring your passport to the desk.
We'd suggest leaving loose jewellery in your bag. The drop zone supplies the harness, goggles, and jumpsuit pieces they want you to wear.
Groups at the drop zone can be up to 15. You still jump as a tandem pair with your own instructor, not as a formation with the whole group.
Solo guests join the next available plane. You are not asked to fill the aircraft yourself.
Please tell the instructor at the brief, about 20 to 30 minutes before boarding. They walk you through the freefall position and the harness so you know what will happen before anyone walks to the plane.
You stay clipped to the instructor for the whole jump. The crew would rather you say so on the ground than discover it at the door.
