The road north from Dubai takes you to Jebel Jais, where you zip across the mountains from a platform at 1,680 metres. The crew fit your harness at the Welcome Centre, brief you on the transparent floor, and send you over two flights, including a stop on a platform that hangs 53 metres above the ground. Hotel transfers from Dubai are included.
Most guests start with a hotel transfer from Dubai, and the drive to Jebel Jais takes about two hours, so bring water and something to read for the road. Once we reach the Welcome Centre you'll check in, store bags as directed, and join the harnessing and safety brief before anyone heads to the launch platform.
You'll ride the zipline in the sequence the team runs on the ridge, with staff at each stage so you are not guessing which line is yours. Independent travellers meet at the base at the time we send you. Please allow a full morning for the drive, the brief and the ride, and wear layers because the car park can be breezy even when the coast feels warm.
Jebel Jais sits in the Hajar mountains of Ras Al Khaimah, roughly two hours north of Dubai by road, with the zipline station high on the ridge above wadis and terraced slopes. The air is cooler than the coast and the views look across rocky peaks rather than city skyscrapers.
Most guests travel from a Dubai hotel on the included transfer; independent travellers meet at the mountain base at the time we send you. Allow a full morning for the drive, the briefing and the ride. Wear layers, because the car park can be breezy even when the coast is warm.
You'll need to be at least 13 years old and comfortable with heights. Anyone under 18 travels with an adult. No zipline experience is required. Follow the brief and let the crew clip you in.
Tell us about any weight, height, or mobility limits when you confirm. The mountain team can refuse a guest who sits outside the harness range on the day.
Jebel Jais is a full mountain day from Dubai, with road time, Welcome Centre check-in, and the two-stage zipline run in order. Most guests travel on the included transfer; independent travellers get the same meet time and ridge sequence at the base.
We run this route regularly, so lobby pickup, bag storage, and harnessing are timed around the drive north. Bring layers for the car park, because the ridge can feel cooler than the coast even on warm mornings.
We collect you from your Dubai hotel and drive to the Jebel Jais Welcome Centre in Ras Al Khaimah, about 175 kilometres away. Be in the lobby at the time we send you. The same transfer brings you back. Do not travel to the Sharjah office.
We collect you from your Dubai hotel and drive about 175 kilometres to the Jebel Jais Welcome Centre in Ras Al Khaimah. The lobby time is sent to you beforehand, because the mountain road and the first departure of the day need a prompt start.
Please stay in the hotel until the transfer arrives. Do not make your own way to the Sharjah office, and do not drive yourself to the mountain unless we have agreed that in writing.
Yes. Hotel transfers from Dubai are part of the day. The same vehicle brings you back after you finish at the Welcome Centre.
If you are staying outside the usual pickup area, tell us the hotel so we can confirm the collection still works for the mountain departure.
The outing lasts about six hours from lobby to lobby. Most of that is the drive to Ras Al Khaimah and back. Time on the lines is a shorter block inside that window.
How long you wait at the Welcome Centre depends on the queue and the wind. We do not rush a launch to fit a clock if the crew are still checking harnesses.
You'll need to be at least 13 years old. Anyone under 18 should travel with an adult who can complete the venue paperwork.
Please tell us the ages and any height or weight questions when you confirm. The mountain team can refuse a guest who sits outside the harness limits on the day.
Groups stay at a maximum of 15. You travel from Dubai together and you launch in the order the crew set on the platform.
Families who arrive together stay on the same transfer. Solo guests join the next available mountain departure.
Two versions of the day are offered: Jebel Sky Tour with transfers, and Jebel Jais Flight with transfers. Both include the drive from Dubai. We tell you beforehand which line you have.
Kit, the brief, and the return transfer sit on both. Souvenirs at the Welcome Centre are extra.
The lines need reasonably clear weather and a wind speed the crew will accept. Strong gusts, low cloud, or a closed mountain can delay or stop a launch.
If the crew cannot fly the lines, we will contact you with the next step. That call sits with the mountain team.
We recommend wearing closed shoes you can walk in, and clothes that sit under a harness without loose straps. Bring sun protection and a light layer for the summit platform, which sits at 1,680 metres.
Leave long scarves and dangling jewellery in the transfer. The crew fit the harness and helmet at the Welcome Centre, so You don't need to own your own kit.
No zipline experience is required. You get a brief on the transparent-floor platform, then the crew clip you in and talk you through the first launch.
You should be comfortable with heights and able to follow instructions in English. If you freeze on the platform, tell the crew. They would rather hold you than push a launch you are not ready for.
Tell the crew before they clip you in, or as soon as you feel it. They would rather hold you on the transparent floor than push a launch you are not ready for.
There is time to look out from 1,680 metres and settle. The mountain team make that call, not a clock on the coach.
