Your afternoon begins with shared pick-up in a 4x4 vehicle from your Dubai hotel or residence before travelling to the Lehbab Desert. Known for its red sand dunes and open terrain, this region provides suitable conditions for off-road driving. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a safety briefing before starting your 30-minute dune buggy ride. The route is guided and allows you to drive across open sand areas with a stop at the edge of the dunes for sunset photography.
Following the buggy session, you’ll experience 15–20 minutes of dune bashing in a 4x4 vehicle driven by a licensed safari driver. Expect controlled climbs and descents across soft dunes. Sandboarding is available on selected slopes, offering a different way to engage with the terrain.
The evening continues at a desert camp equipped with seating areas and a central performance stage. Refreshments including water, tea, coffee and soft drinks are provided. Dinner is served as an international BBQ buffet with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Live entertainment includes belly dance, Tanura dance and fire performances. There is also time for a camel photo opportunity and optional henna painting before your return transfer to Dubai.
The safari takes place in the Lehbab Desert, approximately 45–60 minutes from central Dubai depending on traffic. The area is widely used for desert activities due to its accessible dune formations and red sand landscape.
The camp is a structured desert venue set away from city developments, offering lighting, stage facilities and organised dining areas. Transfers operate from all hotels and landmarks within Dubai city limits.
No previous dune buggy experience is required. Safety instructions are provided before the ride, and all participants must follow guidance from supervising staff. The minimum age for participation is 14 years.
This activity is not recommended for pregnant travellers or individuals with back or heart conditions due to off-road vehicle movement. Infant seats are not available, and the safari is not wheelchair accessible.
