Certified divers spend about two hours in the 60-metre indoor tank at Deep Dive Dubai with a guide in the water. You show your card at check-in, kit up, and follow a planned profile through the deep pool rather than diving as a loose pair.
You'll check in on arrival at the venue, and the team will look at your certification card and walk you through the health form. Your guide will then explain the tank layout, the entry point and the signals you'll use once you leave the shallow shelf. We'll kit you up on the deck so you can settle the mask and check the regulator before anyone steps in.
Once you're in the water, the first minutes stay on the shelf while the guide watches how you equalise and how your air sits. A 60-metre tank is still a real descent even though you are not in the sea, and you'll stay with the guide throughout. How deep you go depends on your air, your last logged dive and the guide's call on the day.
The tank holds 14 million litres of fresh water, and you'll remain indoors from briefing to rinse-down. We'll leave time to talk through the dive on the deck afterwards.
Your guided dive runs in the same Deep Dive Dubai facility in Nad Al Sheba: one deep indoor tank inside a climate-controlled hall, with fresh water and clear visibility down the full column. Certified divers still get the unusual sight of a 60-metre drop without travelling to the coast or a boat.
You'll make your own way unless a transfer is included. Parking and taxi drop-off sit at the main entrance; bring your certification card to reception before you kit up.
You must already hold a scuba certification and be at least 13 years old. Bring the card to the venue. Anyone under 18 still needs a parent or guardian for the paperwork.
Please complete the medical form honestly. If you have not dived recently, say so at briefing so the guide can keep the first minutes shallower.
Guided dives in the 60-metre tank suit certified guests who want a proper profile with a guide in the water, not a leisure swim. We check that your booking matches a guided session and that we'll align pickup with your slot when hotel collection is included in your booking.
The venue runs fresh water year-round, and we keep the handover simple: card check, forms, kit-up, and a profile planned around your air and recent diving. You dive with the guide throughout, not as an unsupervised pair in a deep pool.
Please meet us at Deep Dive Dubai. We'll send meeting details before your day. Bring your certification card to check-in. If hotel collection is included in your booking, please wait in your hotel lobby at the time we send you.
You'll meet at Deep Dive Dubai unless your booking includes hotel collection. We send you the start time beforehand, so you know when to be at the venue or in the hotel lobby.
Please arrive with your certification card and logbook. The venue will check them before you are allowed into the deep tank with a guide.
Yes. This session is for certified divers only. Bring the card that matches the name on your confirmation, plus a logbook if you have one, so the guide can confirm your last dive dates.
If your card is expired or you cannot show it, the venue will not put you in the water. Do not choose this session if you have never completed a scuba course.
You'll need to be at least 13 years old and already certified. Anyone under 18 should arrive with a parent or guardian for the venue paperwork, even if they hold their own card.
Fitness still matters. If you have not dived for a long time, tell the guide so they can keep the first minutes conservative.
You'll spend about two hours at the venue. That covers check-in, a briefing on the tank layout, kit assembly, and the guided dive itself.
Bottom time depends on your air, your last dive, and how busy the pool is. The tank is 60 metres deep, but your guide sets the profile, not a promise to use the full depth.
Groups stay at a maximum of six divers. You follow a guide in the water rather than diving the tank as a loose pair.
If you arrive together we keep you on the same dive where the venue can. Solo certified divers join the next available guided run.
Hotel transfer may be available as an add-on at checkout. We'll send your start time and whether collection is included before your day.
If you're making your own way, come to the meeting point we send you. Public transport and taxis serve the area.
The pool is indoors, so wind and rain outside do not stop the dive. The water is fresh and filtered on a continuous cycle.
If you feel congested or have ear pain, tell the guide before you descend. Equalising in a 60-metre tank is still a real skill, even though you are not in the sea.
Please bring your certification card, a swimsuit, a towel, and a change of clothes. If you own a well-fitting mask you may bring it, but you do not need a full kit.
The venue supplies tanks, regulators, and the rest of the scuba set for the guided run. Leave bulky cameras until the guide says they are allowed in the tank.
You should be comfortable descending on scuba and able to equalise. A medical form is still completed at the venue even when you are certified.
If you have a condition that affects diving, please bring written clearance. The guide can refuse the dive if the form or the card check fails.
Say so at briefing. The guide can keep the first minutes on the shelf and watch how you equalise before anyone goes deeper.
A long gap does not stop the dive on its own, but the profile will be more conservative until the guide is happy with how you look in the water.
