Your adventure begins in the Brecon Beacons, where you’ll meet your guide and receive all necessary equipment. After changing into your gear and listening to a comprehensive safety briefing, you'll start your adventure.

Our experience is designed for individuals aged 8 and up with a moderate level of fitness. No prior experience is necessary, as our expert guides will provide all the instruction and support needed to enjoy the adventure safely.
Each session includes up to 12 participants per instructor, and you're likely to be joined by others, making it a great opportunity to make new friends. If you prefer a private group, please contact us to discuss rates and availability.

The biggest difference between Gorge Scrambling and Canyoning is the steepness of the valley, and therefore the intensity of the activity.
We'd recommend gorge scrambling for families and canyoning for adult groups.
Our Gorge Scrambling experience takes place in waterfall country in the Brecon Beacons. We have two different rivers we can use. We will confirm the exact location after booking.
The session is 4 hours long. This includes meeting the instructor, changing, and listening to the safety brief. You will get at least 3 hours in the Gorge.
Gorge Scrambling is suitable for individuals aged 8 and up. It’s a great adventure for families and beginners looking to try something new.
You should bring swimwear, old trainers (wetsuit boots are available for purchase at £25), a towel, a change of clothes, and lunch or snacks.

River levels change with rain fall. They can be lower than the photos and in exceptional conditions can be too high and we have to cancel for safety reasons (for example in our 2021 season we cancelled 3 days out of the 150 day season due to rain levels).
