Move through one of the Lake District’s well-known mountain streams, tackling climbing, scrambling, and water-based obstacles. This session works well for groups, stag dos, or anyone wanting a full outdoor adventure. Private group sessions are available on request, giving you a tailored experience for your party.
The experience begins in Coniston, where you’ll meet your instructor and get fitted with a wetsuit, helmet, buoyancy aid, and harness if needed. You’ll start with a safety briefing and a short warm-up before heading into the ghyll. Initial sections help you get comfortable on the rocks and in the water, with small climbs, slides, and gentle pools.
As you progress upstream, the challenges increase, including small waterfalls, rock steps, and natural slides. Your instructor will guide you throughout, offering tips and support while tailoring routes to the group’s skill and confidence levels. You’ll have opportunities to jump into pools and slide down features, with the pace adjusted to suit everyone in the session.
The session can be booked as a private tour for groups wanting a fully personalised experience. This allows your party to focus on your chosen pace and obstacles, ensuring a unique adventure designed just for you.
